whats your thoughts on stetson?
yea i did. 1200 for 3 years, making it 4000 a year. im not plannign to go there b/c i got into better schools and chicago is too far away.

I'm thinking about going to Appalachian. Are you going to the open house April 1. Do you know anything about the law school? I have heard some really bad things and I have heard some okay things.

Sorry about Marquette... I have a feeling they will be accepting a good number of people from their wait list this year. I think you'll be one of them! Have you had much contact with their admissions office? If so, how did they treat you? Good luck!

Hi there, Congrats on your acceptances! I have a question about John Marshall that maybe u could help me with. I was waitlisted for fall 06. Do you know how I should go about applying for Spring 07 (which I'd much rather prefer)? Do I have to submit a whole new application? All I got in my envelope was a sheet of paper saying I was waitlisted. There was nothing about Fall 07 at all. Any suggestions or ideas?? I'd really like to go spring 07. THANKS! Heather
I'm sure you've noticed...but Marquette is pulling people off the wait list...and it's pretty early...I would think you've a good shot at getting in. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
On ur acceptances, where are you going to attend?
I was semi-surprised that I was waitlisted at JMLS, oh well, life goes on. I was thinking about attending Nova anyway because when I looked at the stats for JMLS on USNEWS the attrition rate caught my eye. It looks really fishy. According to USNEWS, if you add up all the years, 40% of the original class eventually leaves the school or fails out. Seems very shady to me. I probably won't request admission for spring semester because I am already in at Nova for fall-fulltime, unless somebody explains to me the extremely high attrition rate at JMLS.
Not only did I visit JMLS, I attended for two weeks. It is NOT the school anyone would want to attend. They are rude, the classes are HUGE, I mean, way larger than average first year classes. And the professors, well....there was only one decent first year professor out of all of the ones that I had. I have made other posts warning people about my experience from JMLS, you may want to check other peoples pages, like higherlearning or purplecat23. But to make a long story short, you'd be much better off somewhere else than at JMLS.
...for the kind words. I am not very hot on Marquette at the moment, so I may open up a spot for you in the near future!
