Wow! You've got a lot going for you. :-) I'm surprised you haven't heard back yet. I'm sure you will get in. The admissions committee is probably swamped with applications right now... and, to make it move more slowly, the withdrawals are probably trickling in, too. So, they've got their hands full. I agree with you, if you had been rejected, they would have done so by now. Keep the faith. I hope to see you on campus on June 20 for New Student Orientation Day.

Thanks for the kind words! Honestly, FAMU was super fast for me in getting a decision. After I turned in my residency affidivit on last Wednesday, I was mailed by acceptance letter two days later on Friday, and then today, they emailed me the scholarship offer. They were scary fast. But I'm sure ull get in though, just remain patient and keep your chin up. Good luck on your decision, I wish you the best.
It took 5 months, but I got an email from them yesterday that said I was accepted.
Yes, I am still going to attend Oklahoma City University.
Yea, the scholarship is pretty sweet. But if FIU doesn't accept me, I'll have to decide between FAMU and Akron.

Hey ksin, You and I are in the same boat. I got into NCCU's PBAP program which is their equivalent to Nova's AAMPLE. It's only 2 weeks but I'm waiting to hear from FAMU and they are taking forever. I mean if you're going to say no get on with it already. I check my e-mail frantically hoping to see something and I'm getting to a road block. Grrrr!

Hey ksin... I got in at FAMU. I'm not sure if I'll be going there in fall but it's nice to have options. We're going to law school girl!
My soft factors are okay. I have been working for about ten years as a mental health counselor and real estate broker. I work with youth that are involved in dependency court. I am involved in the court system. I write court reports and testify on the behalf of the State of Florida. As a real estate broker, I deal with contracts daily.
