I agree, Pace is indeed a great school. I only wish I could get accepted there. Thanks for your prompt response and good luck.
You should think about applying to some safeties. With your numbers Rutgers is a reach. I applied there last year and was rejected. It you wanna stay in the NY/NJ area think about applying to NYLS (expensive), Touro, CUNY, and even Drexel (non-aba). It's good to have some schools lined up just in case your first choices fall through. This is my second time doing this and I know from experience. Good LUCK!
Hi, While deferrment isn't great, it is still better than rejection. I am really happy for you and hope you get in. Rutgers is my dream school and I prey everyday that I get in. I love everything about it: the faculty, the building, the diversity of its students, the alumni, and the reputation. Although with my LSAT my chances are extremely slim, I still prey for a miracle and hope that, like yours, my persistence will pay off. Once again, congrats and good luck.

hi law. i. was. waitlisted..... hope it turns out well for you.
Law, I totally understand your frustration. I'm still seriously considering Pace against NYLS. St. John's didn't offer me any $$, so that's a factor in my decision as well. I promise you that as soon as I'm sure I won't be attending Pace, I will withdraw my application. I'm currently in waitlist hell myself. Good luck with your apps!!
Thank you. To answer you question, yes I did interview with Pace it was a quick 20 minute interview and very informal, but none the less I am positive it helped. Also, I did retake this LSAT I got a 146 the first time and then a 152 which makes my average a 149. I did my personal statement over and included a resume and diversity essay this time around. Finally I included an addendum a transcript issue. Hope that helps!
Hey, I was waitlisted by Pace about a month ago. This past thursday I checked my mailbox and there was a large sized white envelope from Pace. It included a viewbook, an acceptance letter, and some information about scholarship applications. It was delivered regaular mail and came as a very big shock to me, since I was not expecting it. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
I agree, WAY too much emphasis is placed on the LSAT. I, too, got into some schools in prior years (2005 cycle), but decided not to bother going, because I didn't get accepted to any schools I was really interested in. But then again, I was finishing my Master's in Mathematics that August, so I decided to try again for the 2006 cycle and low and behold, I FINALLY got accepted to much better schools. I was quite happy. Good luck to you.
I'm still debating if I want to go to Pace, but if I decide not to go, I'll definitely withdraw. Good luck. I think you should be able to make it.

I will be withdrawing shortly. However, did you apply there? You don't have it listed.
Oh and thanks for the congrats by the way. :)
why are you so crazy to get into pace? i've been accepted there, too, and although it is high on my list, i was just wondering what makes it your first choice, maybe that will help in my decision making. p.s. i won't be withdrawing my acceptance until the last possible minute, so please don't bother to ask. :)
what do you really love about pace, aside from being able to commute and having a good chance of being accepted? is there anything else that really draws you there? also, where would you be commuting from? if i go to pace, i'll be living at home and commuting, at least for the first year.
i was just being playful about him not asking me to pull my app yet. i understand his position, as i have many friends in the same boat as he. you should understand that there are many factors which go into deciding which law school to choose, and just because i have a few options does not make the process any easier for me.
Sorry to read you were rejected from Rutgers. I have not heard a peep from Rutgers, Brooklyn or St. John's and my deposit at Pace is due on 4/1. I am putting in my deposit at Pace. I think it would take a lot to get me to change my mind at this point. There are many positives I see to Pace including their Women's Justice Center and their student oriented approach. Good luck, I hope this comes through for you this year! Otherwise, don't get discouraged-remember it took me three application cycles!
Hi Congrats on Penn State. I was wondering which campus you got accepted to and if you were considering attending?
Pace is a great school. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I only have till Feb. Good luck with your apps
