Congrats on your UVA money

Did they send you an email in advance of the letter notifying you of the scholarship? What was the letter dated?

wow, congrats on getting that uva scholarship. would you mind telling what it's for (need or merit)? I have lowish numbers for them like you and thought it would be hopeless to be expecting any (I'm amazed I got in in the 1st place) til I saw your LSN. Thanks!

While my school didn't have official concentrations within the political science major, I focused on political theory as well (which is why so many of my classes were at the grad level). Good luck! It looks like you are doing better than me in the app cycle (since I got outright rejects at h and chicago) so I don't see why you wouldn't get accepted at NYU. Why didn't you apply to stanford? oh, and at the risk of going overboard on the similarities, i'm assuming that ivy in ny means columbia and the school i teach at is right by columbia (105 and ams.)...weird.
