Wow - I feel so loved that someone bothered to comment, especially someone who has been accepted at schools that I wouldn\\\'t expect you to even care to keep trolling LSN! Thank you, and congratulations on your fabulous app cycle. No, I didn\\\'t interview at NW, so I was kinda touched that they waitlisted me. I got an email last month that they had a few interview slots in my city (DC), but by the time I decided to do it and clicked thru the slots were gone. I was relieved, because I didn\\\'t really want to deal with it and I\\\'m still hoping for a UVA acceptance (first choice).

I was a bit surprised that I got in. I think being a VA resident helped a lot. I know it is really tough waiting but don't stress too much, i'm sure you'll get in where you want by the end.

I think with your numbers and the fact that you are a VA resident, you will have a very good chance at UVA. Still working through "unofficial" channels on the Army thing, so I should know by mid-March. If I have to withdraw, you can take my place. Best of luck the rest of the way.

I appreciate it. Good luck on the Army appeal; you obviously deserve to go to law school.

how did you hear from UVa?

Finally - a decision!

I received the status change to decision email Friday night. Monday the letter arrived in a small business envelope. No, I didn't submit anything else after being deferred.

See, I told you

So are you going to UVA now? Barring any major scholarship offers, I'll be headed there too. Are you going to the March open house?

Thanks!

Oh, hell yes I'm going. I'm still waiting on Boalt and UCLA, but nothing they could possibly say would change that. So the Army is cutting you loose - that's great! I haven't figured out if I'm doing the March open house or the April one. You?

Congratulations on Uva! we have similar numbers, so hope I will have some luck with any T14. Enjoy Uva!

I don't think I have a chance on merit since my numbers are so low. Maybe need-based aid, but I'm not sure. I guess all we can do is hope for the best. I'm going to the March 24 open house. I have so many questions about housing, classes, books, etc... Are you doing any "prep" work? A few friends recommended buying Planet Law School II and a few other books, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Anyway, congrats again on your acceptance, and if you are going to the March open house, we should have a LSN get-together. Best of luck.

Letters went out and started arriving around 3/16. No email in advance, but there was a thread on LSD talking about them. Good luck, a scholarship will make going to UVa even easier for you!
