how you must feel about HLS!! my number twin...we will keep each other posted in this journey--- as for stanford--did you make sure it's not the dean's certification that is holding you up?
have you contacted Stanford to see why you aren't complete? I'm thinking about it, it's getting old seeing people who applied last week go complete! all of my stuff is there, so I don't know what the delay is. good luck on the rest of your apps!
I ended up calling and figuring it out. as obnoxiously impatient as they may find the phone calls, i'd recommend it to anyone who has been waiting a similar amount of time...it's pretty nice to finally get that complete e-mail ;)
It was something with my letters...I used form C, so I directed my LSDAS ones to not be sent, and I guess they thought my report was incomplete because it didn't have any letters. That's odd about HLS since a ton of people went complete last week, and I would think you'd be up there for a phone call with this latest group (although the complete factor could be holding that up?) If you don't want to be a pesky caller like me, you could reply to that "we received your app" e-mail and see what's going on with it
On Michigan! I'm jealous - it's hard to have a "Decision" status on your application, then not even get so much as a piece of junk in the mail today. Good luck with the rest of your schools!

Yes we are. I'm assuming we're just the first wave...but it's nice to be first :). I was pretty much sold by the phone call - if nothing else happens this cycle, I'll still be completely happy.

Are you going to one of the ASWs?
I was thinking March, since I believe the April weekend is the same weekend as the PI scholarship interviews for NYU - while I don't know if I'd be invited, it might be nice to be available just in case (on the other hand, Darrow $ with no strings vs. PI $ with strings...). But I need mich to give me a schedule (like do I need to fly in Wed night, etc) to buy a ticket (how does their paying for travel work - reimbursement? just travel, or lodging too?) I just looked at the mich website, which is where you get the 14 for the Darrow, right? Is it 14 offers total, or 14 people who typically end up coming from those offers? (Either way, we're very cool...I didn't realize 14 was the number)

Sorry to see about Harvard. Frame your Darrow letter and send it to them. Hell, just frame your Darrow letter :), you'll feel better. They weren't going to give you 135k anyway, right?

I'm applying from UChicago also, got a 172 and a 3.67, history major. We are basically the same applicants numbers wise, haha. What school do you want to get into the most?
