Good luck this cycle.
If you have a good enough reason to go to New Haven to study law, you would get off your butt and get that 250 done! :) After all, half of the folks in Yale have numbers lower than yours.
Are you implying you were nervous about Michigan with 3.91 and 172? Really?
On Duke!
no TS love.
I hope both of our "decisons" arrive swiftly, with good news - best of luck!
On Georgetown!
..us both getting that email from Toby today.
and I'm sure you have nothing to worry about for Boalt.
On UCLA!
I certainly hope that he calls back before the holidays...that would be a nice present, for sure. Congrats on Boalt!
Yoo, too - CONGRATS!
On Harvard!
on Harvard! I just got the TS email today, so here's to hoping it works out!
on HLS!
On Michigan!
I have a couple of favorites, but I'm probably going to have to visit to decide. How about you?
Good luck on Stanford, bro - we have very similar info./stats!
I hear ya! Almost went to Oberlin myself but ended up at Case Western. Palo Alto would be a nice change indeed.
On Virginia!
I got my Toby Stock call today and wasn't sure if it went ok...I'm glad to see that you were in the same boat and congrats on all your acceptances!
Who knows, it makes about as much sense as you getting deferred at Northwestern. By the way, congrats on Stanford, that's awesome! :)
haha, thanks for the comforting words. no michael richards-isms, but lots of "you knows" and talking too fast. i studied abroad in london, where did you study?
Congrats on Stanford!!
On Stanford - that's awesome. Sorry to hear about the NU deferral - totally weird phenomenon, if you ask me. But you're not the only one...and clearly, you have better options anyway! best of luck making your decision
No particular first choice yet, as I'm trying not to fall in love with a place and then get dinged. Of the places that I've been admitted to so far, it's hard not to say Harvard (they also have a particular concurrent degree I'm very interested in), but the Darrow or equivalent could maybe sway me away from there, especially since Michigan also offers cross-registration in the area I'm interested in.
On Penn!
You're demolishing this cycle like none other. Chuck Norris would be proud!
This guy who goes there stalked me and tried to ruin my life, and I didn't want to risk having to put up with him again, so no Stanford for me.
on Stanford and Penn!
Well Harvard and Columbia (with money hopefully) have always been my top choices but if I hear from Y/S I would def have to check them out before I could decide. And money anywhere could also tip the scales, haha.
On Columbia and NYU!
Can I just marvel at your cycle for a little bit?
LOL. you are hilarious. i wish my personal statement was that scandalous. (geez, why couldn't my parents have been a bit more dysfunctional earlier in my childhood?) i'm feeling pretty great about my cycle right now...would love to hear something good from NU, but I really can't complain with the choices I have now! Philly, NYC, and DC are all exciting.
Congratulations! If you are really only considering Stanford and Harvard, can you withdraw from Berkeley now?
Seems like you've been getting a decent amount of hate here and on LSD lately; just wanted to extend a genuine congrats on your success. Don't apologize for it, withdraw when you feel like it, and enjoy next fall at whichever fantastic school you choose to attend.
As a matter of fact, I too have a thing for Michigan. Frontrunner at this point, pending a couple decisions and financial aid.
On Chicago!
Wow, great cycle. Congratulations!
Yes, I'm going to make every effort to get to the Stanford ASW...the only problem is that my work commitments kind of prevent me from going to the Harvard March open house, so I might have to double up on Harvard & Stanford that same weekend; we'll see how it goes! I imagine I'll see you there??
for the good wishes! i'm really excited with my choices. not sure if there will be any more good news for me, but it would be pretty mind-boggling if I got into any of the places I have left. looks like you're in store for a LOT of merit money, btw.
hey just wondering how you were notified of your levy offer. were you emailed and if so, who emailed you?
i got those same too emails from penn about the levy! very disappointing. i think they still haven't made a decision and randi, the woman who sen t the email, mistook a nomination for an offer.
thanks for the congratulations (from a month ago...i clearly haven't logged on in a while)! i've accepted the offer at harvard, maybe i'll see you there! if not, best of luck wherever you go. and can i say WOW about you tutoring your dad for the GED?
Congrats to you, too - it must feel awfully nice to be narrowed down to three! Withdrawing is so cathartic... Will I see you at the Stanford ASW?
Congrats on your cycle, and especially on the AnBryce! That's huge.
Hey, looks like we have similar numbers. Good luck!!
