Are law schools going to see both GPAs or just the GPA from the degree granting school? That is an awesome upswing! Best of luck and thanks for the response.
Northwestern. I know you have reservations about driving to interview, so apply without it, they dont actually REQUIRE it to apply. They Love high LSATs....
Good luck! You have an awesome LSAT score, hope you get into ND!
Best of luck to a fellow splitter!
Congrats on OU, i just accepted today too! Where would you rank OU on your list? Having to put down $200 by Dec. 22 is really quick but I think it's a good school for a low price, hopefully they will send some scholarship money but I don't want to push my luck haha
Hey congrats on the acceptance! Obviously you have some better schools on your list, but don't write off OU immediately even if you get into them. It is a great school! Haha...then again, I'm biased, it's my undergrad. I love it though and have heard awesome things about the law school. Congrats again!
It appears from LSN that is takes about 3 weeks and we should get something in the mail. The acceptance letter pretty much said congrats we need a $200 down payment by Dec 22nd to hold your seat, and that you should fill out FAFSA, which I already have, and then it says you can set up your email and some scholarship information will be sent to that email address but I tried to set it up and it says it doesn't recognize my Social Security Number which is wierd maybe that won't work until we get something about scholarships in the mail...? to sum up I'm really not sure, but let me know if you here anything
On that first acceptance!
on the split. best of luck.
that 'The Edge' is kindof a tool. Congrats on the acceptance at OU, may it be the first of many. I'm a splitter myself, and I hope that if/when I get to law school next year I don't have to sit next to anyone so bitter about the LSAT...
Congrats on SMU!
Congrats - hopefully we'll be classmates next year. Did you get in the PT or the FT program?
I am a little discouraged at looking at your results so far. I have numbers in your ballpark, though my LSAT is several points under yours. I had hoped that some schools would give me (us) the benefit of the doubt, with the LSAT and the rebound in our Degree GPA. Maybe I was too optimistic? Anyway, congrats to you for your great acceptances so far to offset the dissapointment of the rejects. You're definately going to have some options, and one of those other T14's may still come through for you... Best of luck.
congrats on st johns! just curious, is the scholarship guaranteed in the second and third years, or are there certain conditions you have to meet?
Good luck, applicant who's numerically identical to me.

to stay in the top 50...so here I am... congrats on the great offers!
good luck... let me know how your NU/Chicago visit goes! i am flying there from LA next week
I got the same email from W&L today, and am likewise very excited about the school. My wife and I visited Lexington this summer and really loved it. I just hope they are willing to throw some money at me; it will be hard to pay 400% more to go to W&L instead of IUB... Go splitters!
Not sure yet. We have already visited the school, but we would like to make another and spend more than a day in Lexington. Not sure whether our schedules will jive with the Open House dates, though. Perhaps I'll see you there...
Oops, that last one was me, I wasn't signed in.
Might want to check them out
Thanks for the info :)
have you heard any solid news about when we might hear a response from UTK about scholarship money? Sorry to hear about Michigan :(
Congrats on WUSTL and W & L! Splitters rock.
Yea, I'm leaning toward Michigan State... it's the money thing. I would like to not have debt when I graduate. It's ok about Notre Dame, I'm over it.
Congrats on the scholarship!! (FINALLY!) So is that enough to keep you in Tennessee?
I'm really excited.. I can't believe that I got accepted to Iowa!
I'm a senior in Keenan, still livin here. As for UTK, I'm definitely starting to consider it, especially since my other 4 schools are still stagnant on my decisions. I've heard Knoxville is a lot of fun and there's a lot worse places to be than where there's SEC football and beautiful girls. I won't be able to hit up their law preview day, but I'm hoping to take a visit over the Easter weekend if I can get down there.
Oh and I'm not in-state, I'm from the NYC area...
Hey! You were there on Friday? I don't know if we met, but if we did, it was great meeting you! ;-) I was really impressed with the law school there, and with the faculty and staff. They were all so nice and welcoming. I also forgot how much I love Tennessee. It was just beautiful outside, wasn't it? Shoot me an email before orientation. Let's meet up with paul1454 and grab some lunch once we're all there.
I think it'll be UNC. Can't beat the in state tuition or the fact that I only have to move 15 minutes from where I live now :) Good luck though. I think I would have been happy either way.
Why the big difference between your GPA and your Degree GPA? Nice LSAT by the way.
