similar states, same scholarships from Pepperdine and Chapman. Which would you go for at this point in the cycle?
Pepperdine no question. Tier 2 school compared to a tier 4 school. But I'm really shooting for Davis.
Not that expensive, try living in LA near Loyola!
Sorry about that.... see my comment above for an explanation. I know I would be gettting my hopes up if I saw someone with a 160 getting accepted by USC as well.

i would trade you for hastings in a second! and good luck with davis, your numbers are better than mine so you definitely have a great chance at it! and my advice for picking between davis and hastings is to visit each one. cus the schools, the area, and the type of people are all really different. and depending on your personality you might be happier at one place rather than the other. and you might want to also check out craigslist for the possible apartments/condos you can afford live in. i know a few ppl who are picking davis over hastings just because they dont wanna live in a cardboard box in SF for 3 years haha.
Dropped ten ranks in US NEWS for 2009. Regardless it has a good reputation, but hastings is better. And I disagree with the person who left comment about Pepperdine. If you do well, I am sure Ken Starr can get you a nice job.

Congrats on hearing back so soon, from Pepperdine, im sure you will have a great cycle. I applied a bit earlier than you on USD and a bit later to Pepperdine and haven't heard back anything ;(
