ATTENDING NORTHWESTERN!

9-11-06: Sent my Chicago app in. Now all I need is my LSAT score. It's really scary, but I'm excited!

10-20-06: Submitted my Northwestern app while waiting for my LSAT score...I need to do SOMETHING to pass the time. :)

10-23-06 Signed up for the December LSAT

11-21-06 Applied to all schools but Loyola (have to finish up their Why Loyola essay)

11-28-06 All my apps are in!

12-02-06 Took the December LSAT ... I feel about one million times better about it than September

12-04-06 Decided to apply to Chicago-Kent also (thanks fee waiver!)

12-21-06 Got my December LSAT score!!!!!

12-23-06 Got my first acceptance...to SLU! Didn't get a complete notice or anything, just a large envelope in the mail.

1-12-07 Checked my voicemail and found a message from Dean Bloomquist at Loyola Chicago...I'm in!!!!!

1-17-07 Got a package in the mail and and e-mail...in at Chicago-Kent! I also got an invitation to apply for their honors scholar program which involves special seminars and full tuition plus a stipend. woo!

1-19-07 E-mail from Northwestern...I AM ACCEPTED!!!!!!!! This was my super reach bc I have no work experience! I'm amazed!

1-22-07 Received my Loyola Chicago acceptance package with a $66k scholarship (total for three years)

Also, I got a big envelope from Depaul and was accepted there too, with $60k scholarship ($20k per year)

1-26-07 Applied to Duke after I received a priority track form and fee waiver!

1-29-07 In at WUSTL via e-mail! yay! I'm 6 for 6!

2-20-07 Duke FINALLY completed my file. Only 10 days until I hear from them :)

3-1-07 In at Illinois...found out through an e-mail inviting me to an alumni reception. I called because I hadn't heard anything yet and found out I was in!

3-2-07 In at Chicago! Got the phone call while on the elliptical machine at the gym!

3-3-07 Got my Illinois acceptance packet in the mail...$20K per year as long as I remain in good standing!

3-7-07 Waitlisted at Duke. Oh well. Application immediately withdrawn...AAAAAAAAAAAND...cycle over!

3-12-07 OMG! 20k/year renewable regardless of GPA at Northwestern!!!!!!

3-18-07 Came back from break to find that I had a scholarship offer from WUSTL and UChicago!
This is going to be a tough decision.

I see you are focusing on many of the chicago schools, as am I. What's your top choice?

Read what you said about So Cal on joe23sxe profile, had a good laugh. You were really on point with a lot of the things you said. So Cal has it's benefits, but it sure has more than it's fair share of bullshit!
