11/25/08 - I know I'm applying to a lot of schools, but I'm still unsure as to where I want to go. I figure I'll see where I get in and that will help make the decision for me.

I have three schools left to apply to. They're all highly unlikely, but I'm only applying once so why not give it a shot.

12/09/08 U Denver and SLU both say File Under Review....Hoping to hear something from someone before Christmas break

12/10/08 Call today from the admissions office at SIUC. Accepted and scholarship information in the mail. Not my top choice, but SO excited to be going to law school. It's a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. 15 more to go...

12/12/08 In at Indiana-Indianapolis. Mid-size envelope with nice letter and seat deposit information. It was really quick....2 weeks for a decision. 14 to go...

12/17/08 Got a nice email today from UMKC informing me of my admission and letting me know I would be getting a formal call from the Dean of Admission soon. I assume a letter in the mail as well. Sweet.

12/17/08 In at Mizzou with small white envelope. Letter said financial info to follow. So excited to get into one of my top choices.

12/19/08 My status checker at SLU changed from File Under Review to Decision Mailed, Letter to Follow Shortly. I emailed to try and find out the decision, but the woman told me they don't give out decisions via phone or email. Guess I'll just have to wait.

12/26/08 In at John Marshall via large envelope. Received $30,000 Dean's scholarship over 3 years. Not my first choice, but I do love the idea of living in Chicago.

12/27/08 IN AT SLU via large envelope!!! Couldn't be happier. It's definitely a front runner. It's #1 in health law and I've just heard really good things about the school. I'm going to tour January 10th so we'll see. I know Mizzou is ranked better, but I just can't picture living in Columbia.

6 for 6 so far, but the rejection letter will be coming soon I'm sure =)

1/07/08 Rejected at Depaul University. Small white envelope. Not surprised as I've been following this site. I've pretty much decided where I'm going. Just waiting for financial aid information and any complete surprises.

Anyone else going to the open house at SLU this weekend (Jan 10)?

1/23 Letter in the mail from Indy. They're offering me $13000/yr but I have to stay an out of state student. Happy for the free money, but not sure I like the idea of having to stay out of state.

1/25/09 in at Syracuse via large packet. I was sent a nice letter from the Dean along with a t-shirt and some additional information about the school. Gave me a $26,000/yr scholarship which comes out to be 60% of tuition. Pretty nice. :)

1/26/09 Waitlisted at Loyola. They said they don't make waitlist decisions until April. Hmmm....I'll have to think about this one. At least it's not an all out rejection

2/7/09 Rejected at NYU. There's a shocker :)

2/12/09 Scholarship from SLU came today. $30,000 over three years. shrug.

Dear law schools from which I have not heard anything,

Please just make a decision. It doesn't have to be good. It doesn't have to be nice. Just send it to me in the mail before March 1st.
