Dear Adcomms,

WTF are you guys doing out there?! Some of you have been letting people in with my numbers who applied after me.

It's not like my PS is Finnegan's Wake or something. Get a move on. I know my numbers aren't all that, but for real, please just reject or waitlist me already so I can either retake the LSAT or figure out something else to do with myself.

Sincerely,
Me

My status checker at Vanderbilt has gone to decision. I guess at least they got the message.

Sadly, I think I'm going to start out the decision portion of this cycle with a rejection or a waitlist. Now the countdown begins . . .

1/24/2008-

Maryland letter. FINALLY I have an acceptance, and I am very relieved!

My Vanderbilt waitlist also came at some point prior to today, but my parents didn't tell me until today for some reason.

1/28/2008-

Accepted to Wisconsin this morning via email! Happy, but this one wasn't that surprising.

Later . . . BC via snail mail! This one IS a surprise, so I'm REALLY excited!!

2/22/2008 -

The dry spell is over. In at CU Boulder via snail mail.

3/11/2008 -

Where. Are. My. Decisions?!

3/17/2008 -

"Priority" Waitlisted at IU-B, lowest-ranked school to which I applied. WTF?

Well, IU-B, good luck getting all those kids with 165s that you've been letting in to actually go to your school and thereby commit themselves to spending the rest of their lives in INDIANA. Gross.

3/20/2008 -

Waitlisted at UCLA (snail mail) . . . I seriously expected a rejection?

What is going on here? Am I going to be waitlisted everywhere?

3/22/2008 -

@$&% another waitlist. Kill. Self?

4/3/2008 -

Texas waitlist via email. That was the last reach I was really hoping for, so I guess I'm off to Boston College . . .

4/7/2008 -

Waitlists at Emory and W&L via snail mail.

Sigh, so many waitlists . . .

4/14/2008 -

Sent in my BC seat deposit. OHGODOHGODOHGOD.

So you were also a philosophy/psychology double major? And the president of your philosophy club? And a college DJ? And a writer for your college weekly? Crazy. I did take them out, but not for any particular reason. Good luck!!

Lots of similar schools & very similar numbers. I decided to add you. Good luck! And you can hope all you want, but you're going to get into some nice schools.

I was complete at Vandy a full month before you, and the decision is still MIA - feel lucky! It's agonizing..

167/3 - not exactly stellar, and your index may actually be higher than mine because of the gpa. Though I'll admit I am URM, so that probably helps my GPA pain. I'm taking it as no news is good news.. they already went through the first batch of rejections, now you're starting to see some acceptances sprinkled in with them, so best of luck to you

CONGRATS!

...on Maryland! How did you hear and was it at your current address or your permanent one? Thanks! Again, CONGRATS AND GOOD LUCK!

congrats on your maryland acceptance! I got mine yesterday, too. Now we just get to wait and hope for some scholarship info, too!

Congrats on BC!

IU-B Waitlist

I was wondering what IU-B said in your waitlist notification. Were you given a number? Or did they call it "priority"? Just trying to compare my letter to others...

I won't be at the BC admitted students day, but have fun! If I wanted to be on the east coast, BC would be an amazing option, you should be excited :) I'm planning on making my seat deposit at Davis, but I'm hoping to make it off the Hastings waitlist.

Waitlists

Wow, you have a lot of waitlists. Congrats on no rejections! If it weren't for the cheaper UC tuition, I'd definitely be considering BC (especially considering Davis dropped TEN in rankings). Good luck! Who knows when we'll hear from USC :)
