When did your online status go to "Decision"? How did they notify you that you were deferred?
We do have very similiar stats. I'm still not too sure where I'll end up. W&M is currently leading the pack, but only slighty and everything could change if I get some more scholarship offers. Do you have any idea yet?

Wow, you have given me hope! I'm a VA resident hoping for some love myself. Good for you. So what is the deal - will you have to defer because of the army?

Yes. I sent my updated transcript and a note saying I had taken the LSAT again. I also explained why I wanted to attend UVA and how I felt that the both the school and I would benefit from having me attend.
So do you think we have a shot at any grant aid? They say they'll be sending out notifications about merit aid late this month. I'm hoping they might take pity on us; maybe the resident thing will help. I'm not sure which of the admitted student days I'm going to yet - how about you?
Congratulations on all of your acceptances. I would request, however, that you withdraw from any schools which you do not plan to attend. I am currently on the waiting list at William and Mary, and I would be very grateful if you withdrew if you do not plan to attend. Thanks, and I wish you luck in all of your future endeavors. I suppose I am "the guy." I probably got my ed delay over you because I called up a law school in August 05 and got an early acceptance & scholarship. So I sent in an admission letter and a scholarship offer with my ed delay application...That, and I am not totally unqualified! Great job with UVA. I know you'll love it here. Go Hoos! PS- tell Barnett that some UVA cadets tells him "Holding Company Forever."
