Additional info & updates

6/13- Went to Wake house hunt and loved the school. I'm very excited for August!

5/17- Just checked my Davis status checker - I'm in! I don't know what I'll do; I'm pretty set on going to school back east, and was loving the idea of Wake Forest. I have three weeks to decide, and I'm definitely going to need to go visit.

5/11- Okay, I've had a lot of time to think about it. Wake is going to give me a scholarship. That, together with the difference in ranking, makes me sure that Wake is for me! I'm sad that I won't be going to Richmond, as I loved it when I visited, but I'm super excited to be going to Wake!!!

4/24- Not sure what to do, I am seriously thinking about WFU, so I removed the A next to U of R, but I haven't made a decision yet!

4/23- Received an email asking me to call the WFU admissions office, I did and they told me that I am in! I didn't submit an LOCI or visit.

4/15- Changed my scholarship to total over 3 years - it looks so much more impressive that way!

4/13- Oh, and I'm over retaking, I'll let the chips fall as they may - I'd be happy at Richmond so I'm not going to bother going at the LSAT a third time. I'm going to ride out the waitlists at W&L and W&M though.

4/5-4/12- Visited 9 of my schools, hated GMU, blah about American, didn't like Catholic, LOVED Richmond. Sent in my deposit as soon as I got home, so it looks like I'll be a Spider next year!

4/2- Decided I'm going to retake in June (my third time!) to try to get off these waitlists. I'm still not sure where I'll be depositing, I'm going back east this week to visit and see how I feel about each school!

3/30- In at GMU! I missed the phone call, but she left a message. I was thinking that it was between Richmond and Temple for me, but this acceptance puts a whole new spin on things. I hope my visit next week will make my decision easier!

3/27- WL at W&M and WFU.

3/23- In at Case Western with $$, and WL at American. I'll probably write an LOCI for American and visit the campus when I go to DC in April.

3/9- Large envelope for Seton Hall. In with Dean's scholarship.

3/7- Checked my mail today, and saw a very thin little letter from W&L waiting for me. I definitely thought it was my first rejection.....but it was actually the letter telling me that I am wait listed. I would love to go there, so now I need to write an amazing LOCI.

3/6- First acceptance since obtaining my new score - in at Catholic via email. My letter is in the mail, and I'm glad I checked my email before I saw the status checker that just says "decision mailed". Update: I got an email from them saying that I am invited to visit and talk with a professor and get my scholarship amount increased.

2/27- Finally got my Feb LSAT score, I'm disappointed as I had been testing between 169-173, but that's just the way it goes. Hopefully my small 2 point boost will help me with some of the schools I have yet to hear from.

2/21- Received my letter in the mail (small envelope) - in at South Carolina with a non-resident scholarship. My first scholarship from a school in the top 100. I haven't ever been to South Carolina, and I think that this merits a visit!

2/11- Checked my mailbox - big package from Syracuse! The letter was personalized; it mentioned my major, and some of my work experience as things that they felt stood out about my application. And it was great that they sent a shirt.

2/9- In at Temple via online status checker!

2/7- Took the LSAT, I thought it went pretty well, but we'll see in a few weeks.

2/2- Called John Marshall to check my status, and was told that I've been admitted with Dean's Scholarship.

1/26- Phone call tonight from Dean Rahman; she was so nice, and I am so excited!

1/15- My second LOR was just processed on the 13th, so I wasn't expecting to hear anything for the next week or so. BUT I checked my email today, and found a letter from U Balt saying I'm accepted with a full tuition scholarship. I don't think I'll attend - but yay! for my first acceptance!

Nice user name - though I liked her better as Janet Jopler in the ScheinhartNBCUniversal biopic.

Congrats on your first acceptance! It should take the edge off, but for some reason it seems to do just the opposite...

I'm glad we both finally made decisions. I'm really excited about Tulane and I hear Richmond is really cool too I'm happy for ya (seems like a great deal with the $$$). Too bad we won't be going to the same school but we'll always be name twins :)
