successful career while in school full time...working about 50-60 hours a week while in school FT. Not even including my last semester when I took 8 classes, kept my FT position, and took a PT coaching position on top of it. My GPA suffered, but I couldn't pass up the coaching post at my old high school.
various clubs and committees
finished in 7 semesters
FSU first decision! and it's an acceptance! yaaaaaaaay! got a phone call from the dean of admissions and a small package in the mail.
deferred at northeastern via snailmail
rejected BC small thin envelope...definitely knew what it was, can't say i'm surprised
FSU here i come!
i was at Amherst.
Did you get a scholarship there? Are you considering attending?
have no idea...i mean, on the one hand, FSU is nearly T1 and WNEC is the bottom of T4...but i like living in MA and think i want to end up here after law school...not sure which will give me better job prospects in the already difficult Boston legal market....northeastern fucked me all up...ugh
Deferred at Case! I feel your pain.
Yeah, it looks like all of the deferrals went out at once. I'm not sure I like our chances if you look at the sheer number of deferrals and waitlists. Best of luck to you at Case and all of your schools!!!
Yes, I am 90% sure that I will attend. Irreally enjoyed their admit day, loved facilities, proximity to government and judicial bodies, faculty and administration, cost of living, and laid back atmosphere (if this can exist in law school). Plus I really would like to Florida or southeast as I went to Emory and it will be a much stronger economy than NE during our professional lives.
look on law school discussion under review/rankings, I offered a pretty lengthy review. Any more questions, pm me.
Wondering how the visit went? Haven't seen a review on LSD.
got a standard rejection letter...sent all my stuff in back in november, went complete december 12, and just got rejected this week...no clue, pretty pissed
