When I went to visit I loved the facilities and the faculty seemed great. They have a good reputation in Georgia, not sure about other states. (I think mostly in the south) Their legal writing program is tops. I really like Mercer. I still don't know though....Let me know what you think after you've looked into it a little more. I haven't heard great things about Macon though. I would be willing to overlook not being in a great city though....as long as the school was worth it.

I was in fayetteville this week too, and I loved it! I'm pretty sure that I'm going there for law school
I visited and loved the area of the law school. The areas around it aren't too great though. For me, the school just wasn't right. I felt like I was too loud when I was taking my tour and the law school itself is about a half mile away from the campus. Even though I know I won't be hangin out with undergrads, I don't really want to be separated from everything completely like that. Even the gym isn't walking distance. Not the right place for me, but I guess it depends on your personality.
I also visted Mercer. The people were really really nice and helpful. The law building is big but very old. I think in the summer and spring the area will look a little better because more will be in bloom. When I saw the town I hated it. There was really nothing there and every other street had tons of houses that looked like they were about to fall apart. The writing program, as you probably know, is amazing and if you do well at mercer i heard you have a great chance at a really goo djob in atlanta. I hope that helps.
looks like others are pushing the mercer for ya... :) i talked to a prof at mercer the other day and she was nothing but positive about all things mercer. it looks like a great learning atmosphere... now i'm pushin mercer too... haha

Do you mind telling me a little bit about how you got accepted to UArk? I was thinking since you were sub 205 that you would be automatically waitlisted. Is this wrong?
