So, got into USF, my first t2 school officially in to. So I guess I should consider it against Southwestern. I got in via email, so we'll see if any scholarship comes with it...but unlikely. It would be a tough decision between USF and SW, any comments would be appreciated. I am however, still banking on getting into one of my waitlisted schools, so we'll see. I dont have to make any decision on USF till next mont, so I'll do that then....maybe i'll check it out.

4-2-07 To explain my situation. As of now I'm going to Southwestern, I withdrew from Hofstra even with the nice scholarship, bottom line is I want to practice in Socal. Hofstra was really nice, sent alot of information over and had students call me to answer any questions I had. I checked out Southwestern a few weeks ago and for the most part liked what I saw and heard. I'm really weary of these times of events for Admitted Students. I'm a former recruitment chair for my fraternity (sucessful too), and just find it difficult to draw the line from fact and fiction at any type of event aimed at convincing students to come ot their school. Every school has their song and dance. Either way, Southwestern has a beautiful campus in a really shitty neighborhood in LA. Im from LA, so it doesnt scare me or anything. If I go there its straight to the parking lot and straight back home on school days. Id say most (but not all) of the teachers I came in contact with were genuinley enthusastic, and their motto was that they had office hours indefinitley. I really hope wherever I go, I see my professors outside of class alot. I didnt do that much in UG, and I wish I had. Anyway, I got my Loyola WL last week. I knew it was coming, when I checked my mail box I could tell it wasnt a rejection because it was a thicker small envelope. Loyola is my first choice for now. I want to practice entertainment law, so SW doesnt look like a bad backup right now. I think I would be very happy in San Diego, Ive only heard good things from friends who go there. So its Loyola and USD 1-2, then a threeway with SW, Pepperdine, and UNLV if that doesnt work out.

4-1-07 Just put thus up, been browsing the site for the past month or so, hope this helps.

What do you think about the differences between Loyola and Southwestern? Do you think it would be worth it to turn down a full scholarship to go to Loyola or USD?

Nice job on the profile. I think applicants in future years are going to find our information useful. I know that I have found this site useful so I thought I would contribute as well. Hope you get into Loyola.

Good luck to you too!

Yeah we really are numbers twins! Well to answer your question about where I want to go, I'd have to say that Hastings is my top choice but I'd love to get into SCU as well. I'm hoping to hear from Santa Clara soon but Hastings is my real hope (also my big realistic reach). How about yourself?
