Congrats on MN! I saw the question on scholarship info -- mine came with the acceptance letter a week after the call. Nice that they don't make you wait.

Nice job on MN. I am hoping that my LSAT is as good as yours... MN is my top choice, and it would be nice to get in there, I am guessing I will need at least that good of an LSAT this late in the cycle, good luck on the rest of yours...

Thanks, I hope you're right! It looks like we are applying to quite a few of the same places, so maybe we'll be classmates! Where are you most hoping to go? It's nice to have MN already. Me and you have REALLY similar statistics, here's hoping we both get into Iowa.

At one point I was considering Wisconsin, but once my cycle got underway I sort of started leaning east coast again. Congrats on UMN!! :)

I am kind of a wuss and just wanted to stay in Iowa. I might have left the state if it wasn't for the fact that Iowa is still a pretty highly ranked school. Anyways, we sent in our applications at right about the same time, so if you hear anything from iowa you should let me know and I'll do the same.

Congrats on the acceptance. Did she mention the IP legal writing section? (Aside: anticipated dates are a little confusing. What will you do if one comes and goes with no decision?)

So i ended up getting held/waitlisted at Iowa......not too much fun to be me right now.

yeah i got an OWI, i kind of figure that must be what its about. I'm planning on sending an LOCI, plus they will be getting my updated transcripts pretty soon, which raised my cumulative GPA from 3.36 to 3.43. I think I might set the wheels in motion to getting another LOR and I just set up a visit to the school.

How do you know the dates of your future decisions such as Cornell?

So I see we both got deferred at Illinois, I'll be pullin for you. do you happen to have any idea on when we may be hearing back? im assuming after the seat deposits are due...

WL? I don't understand, you should be an auto-admit there.

That's brutal, I figured you'd be in for sure. Wisconsin claims to look more to the softs than other schools and I figure that is where my WL came from (plus my indiscretions). At least you've gotten in to some top 30 schools, you'll be fine even with the Wisconsin WL, me....not so sure.

I don't think i'm going to send an LOCI. I'm not sure how much it'd help there and I'm probably not willing to ride out the waitlist anyway.

I didn't really want to pay the app fee or otherwise I pry would have. Maybe I will....you make a good point and I'd really like to go to a top 50 school. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.
