I think my extra-curriculars were noteworthy, including my experience as a law clerk for multiple state judges. I also had 3 strong letters of rec including one from a judge I worked for over the summer. I think as long as you make yourself stand out, you have a good chance of admission.

Congrats

Thanks a ton!! I'm super excited for Chicago and I'm in the process of withdrawing all apps. I'm pulling for you in regard to G'town!!

Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. I tried to keep things in perspective when I can. I know most of us will be able to look back and laugh about the stress we put on ourselves. Good luck to you too and have a great cycle!

Congrats

on UVA!! That's awesome. What a way to start the new year!

You're right!

The money thing is really important. Vandy and UVA are amazing. From what I hear, UVA is known for leaving its grads with the smallest amount of debt in comparison with the other schools in the T-14. No matter what school you decide on from this point forward, you're going to a great law school no matter what happens. :)

Hi there, I somewhere read you wrote that you changed your app. cat. from ED 2 RD for Gtown. How did you do that? Did they get offended? Have you received any ans. from them about app. cat. change and/or admin. result? I am planning to do so, please lemme knw of how it went 4 u. Thanks a lot. Best!

Advice please!?

Wow! Congratulations on all of your acceptances! I see that many people have begun to withdraw their applications from law schools already. Did you decide to withdraw many applications after you received your acceptance from UVA? What made you withdraw from five schools so soon?

UVA!

@anonymous- You must be really bitter about the success of others. That's too bad! Going around on different pages posting shameful comments must be a hobby of yours. Anyway, you're irrelevant. @USA- Hey bro, I'm continuing to watch your cycle and wishing you good luck to see how things are going.

Congrats

@anonymous- I agree with Dream2011. Your comments do not belong on this site. @ USA- Congrats on your acceptances, you have quite a list.

Congrats on UPenn!! Your incredible success is really going to make your final decision where to attend even harder.

@ the cowardly anons Three words. Holistic Admission Reviews. If an URM is accepted into a law school (most likely the one you got rejected from) and didn't get a 4.0/180 LSAT then all of you pout. Unfortunately, such feelings of inadequacy compel you to be downright inhuman. Looking at your collection of rejection letters must really must make you feel worthless. @ USA Many congratulations for your acceptances!

Thursday, January 20 2011 at 07:00 PM

Wow, you deserve major congratulations on your cycle! Wait to go on all those acceptances. Looking forward to seeing where you decide to go. :)

In re: LSATwiz's post -- I'm fairly certain that URM status is not a component of rankings, although some have argued it should be. Can someone link me to a source for this claim just in case I'm wrong? By someone I mean lsatwiz. Awesome job, USA!
