I guess I'll just have to guess again! I just finished my Darrow essay...it's pretty hard to distill "why do you want to go to LS/why do you love Michigan?" into 500 words. Best of luck with the rest of your apps - I'm sure there are a bunch more acceptances coming your way!

nice job on dean's $ -- any idea what "recognition afforded during and after time here" refers to ?(dont have as many schoalrship offers as you/ unsure if this is significant language). i like being treated special but am nervous to ask admissions if this means we'd get VIP luncheons/ job hookups etc.
yeah pretty tempting ... think i need to visit before pulling trigger tho, so hopefully i'll pluck up courage by then and ask em their definition of "recognition"
Well, apparently it's possible. They just increased me to $64k
I mailed them my other scholarship offers and explained that they were all very similar and that I was having a hard time deciding between these schools and they bumped it up the next week.
Ok, I'll take a shot. #1 and #3 seem to pair well, and #2 and #4 suggest each other, so I'll shoot for #5?
