Extra Curricular Information

Straight from undergrad. Had impressive degrees of depth, purpose, and achievement in my resume. Very involved in many aspects of the university and its students. Essay pertained to an experience with the law that illustrated a drive and philosophy (towards the law). LoR's from 3 professors and a university VP - ine professor from solely outside the classroom setting. Transcript showed no marked grade projections or perfect performance in a single discipline, with two glaring C+'s. However, I was still able to submit a fairly detailed CV. LSAT score was disappointing compared to practice average.

Admission to Vanderbilt was hard sought and sincerely gratifying. It's unfortunate I will miss three years with the great individuals I met at WUSTL and Emory ASD's.

I don't know about me and HYS, but the fact that you are even applying to Ohio State is blasphemous.

Good luck

Our numbers are kind of similar. It'll be interesting to see how you'll do in this cycle.

Err? Gator?
Friday, September 21 2007 at 05:44 PM

Hey, did you apply paper application? I thought the LSDAS didn't have the app up yet(for UF)?

Good Luck!

Good luck on your cycle! We have very similar numbers, and after this semester, we should have EXACT same numbers...well good luck and maybe we'll see ya at emory?

Monday, October 22 2007 at 05:50 PM

So our numbers and soft factors (and ethnicity/gender) are nearly identical (though I edged you out on the LSAT), only difference being you go to Florida and I go to Florida State... will be interesting to see how we match up on admissions. You've definitely got a head start though, I've yet to go complete on any apps. Good luck and GO 'NOLES!

Same Schools

It looks like we're looking at a bunch of the same schools. Good luck.

No, I didn't request the interview. To be honest I'm not sure why I was selected or what it means. It's actually this week so I'm pretty nervous. Just wondering - what's your top choice? and are you seriously considering UF? I wasn't but now I'm beginning to change my mind...

Good luck!

At UF!

As far as I'm concerned, they were still the #2 team in the league last year, and I think they have a great shot to get blown out in the NCAA Championship again this year! Haha, good luck this cycle, hopefully we can get lucky at schools like Cornell & Michigan

You're in fiction writing? That's my track :) I'm at Lib West right now writing some fiction up. And thanks for the comments about the Mangrove. It was my pride and joy last year, and it's what my PS is about!

but I owe all credit to Dr. Evil, from whom I stole the quote. My ECs aren't quite as interesting. Congrats on Emory! Looks like you were one of the first to hear. Good luck w/ the rest of your cycle.

I hear they're all really... "nice" ;)

also surprised
Wednesday, December 19 2007 at 12:25 PM

Yeah, it's one of my top choices, so I wasn't too happy about it -- at least I still have a shot! Not really sure why, maybe the GPA isn't impressive enough. Congrats on your acceptances so far!

Thursday, December 20 2007 at 06:16 AM

I love WUSTL! Congratulations on getting in! I have family in St. Louis and I'll probably end up practicing in the midwest so WUSTL would be a great choice for me, but I'm not sure if I'd take WUSTL over Duke(even though that choice probably won't come..) Looks like we're applying to a lot of the same schools! Let's hope it's also a lucky time for 166ers!

Thursday, December 20 2007 at 08:34 AM

I hope to get a nod from WUSL soon :)

Sunday, December 23 2007 at 08:53 PM

Looks like we probably have the same fellowship at W&M. I'm still waiting on Notre Dame, and we went complete on the same day. I'm trying not to read that as a bad sign! :-/

I love Clancy's

Thanks for the well wishes...good luck yourself and I definitely was not happy with my decision the next day in the duck blind that I shared with you in those wine flavored delicacies.

Thursday, January 17 2008 at 06:25 PM

Have you had your decision mailed by Vandy yet? Mine apparently was on the 15th and me freaking out would be an understatement.

Stop kidding yourself with that "Top Public Shit" At least your girlfriend is smart enough to admit the truth. Also enjoy the irony of you two pretending not to know each other on here.

Monday, February 04 2008 at 10:46 AM

Nice run so far. If it came down to ND and W&L, which would you choose?

Thursday, March 06 2008 at 05:05 PM

If you are positive you are not going to attend, can you withdraw please...thanks!

Congrats on the big Emory Scholarship!!! How does that play into your calculations and want to attend Emory?

Sunday, April 06 2008 at 06:55 AM

Congrats on the WUSTL money! Is that coupled with the SO's scholarship going to draw the two of you to St. Louis? =)

Emory is a steal!
