12/13 - Send out my final application, Rutgers State Newark. I cannot believe I spent that much money. OMG LOLZ. So now why won't schools get back to me? Are you there, Marquette? It's me, Pete.

12/15 - Rejected by DePaul. Lame.

12/21 - Rejected by University of Kentucky. Predictable, but also lame.

12/22 - Waitlisted by Marquette. Anyone have any ideas about how to approach this?

1/12/08 - Rejected by University of Minnesota. I suppose I should feel lucky for having been considered for this long.

1/29/08 - Accepted by University of Maine. Finally, an acceptance letter.

2/20/08 - Still only once acceptance, plenty o' rejections, and some deferrals. I'm starting to get worried about Marquette.

2/28/08 - Sent in application for Rutgers-Camden. A little late to the party, but they gave me an application waiver, so why not?

5/30/08 - Accepted to Marquette... and I'm done. Going to Marquette. Finally.

I hope you do well. Almost a number twin, just very slightly better numbers ;)

That's so funny. We have almost the EXACT same numbers. I didn't apply to Kansas though. Only Nebraska but if I get in I'll probably withdraw. The Fiance says it's too cold.

Why is Marquette your number 1 choice? I've applied because I got a fee waiver and am very interested in their sports law certificate, but other than that I don't know much about the school. Good luck.

They sent me a thing asking for me to prove that I was a resident of Kentucky. I moved here in February, so I had to make my case. Hopefully they see that, so they can consider me an instate applicant. That would help tremendously.

I prefer DePaul over Marquette because of location. DePaul is in downtown Chicago. Plus te alumni connection is truly deeper than Marquette hands down. I met a Judge (DePaul graduate) who already connected me to law firms in Chicago.

Congrats on UMaine! Suffolk is actually my top choice, If I don't get in there I will defiently consider going to Maine, its actually pretty close to home and I've heard really good things about it. How about yourself? Did they give you any mention of scholarship money?

any news on how marquette handles their deferrals? I'm sitting on three different deferrals and don't seem to have a clue when I should hear anything...

You have any knowledge of what the results have been as far as waitlistees at KU? It was my #1 choice and I am on the WL there. Saw you were also on the list, wondering if you had any idea what the chances are. Chris
