Duke

CONGRATS on Duke! I'm sure you'll have a great cycle.

Hey...
Sunday, September 27 2009 at 08:00 PM

Big congrats on TEXAS! I wish you the best on the rest your cycle.

congrats!
Friday, September 11 2009 at 08:00 PM

On UT!

Wednesday, October 28 2009 at 08:00 PM

Wow! Way to go on Duke and Texas! I'm applying to both of those and hope I have the same outcome. Good luck with the others!

thanks
Wednesday, September 09 2009 at 08:00 PM

thanks for the comment-although I do owe a lot to luck and circumstance. :knocks on wood for applications: I've never been a fan of New Haven, and can't see myself spending three years there. Congrats on Duke and Texas!

Congrats to you too!
Sunday, November 01 2009 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on Duke and Texas Yeah. UVa has to have 40% of its seats filled by in-state people. I think thats higher than a lot of the other schools that have quotas.

Please don't be hating...
Tuesday, April 07 2009 at 08:00 PM

I'm sure we'll be classmates some day Todd lol. Good luck on your Cycle, I look forward to hearing what schools you are accepted too.

congrats!!
Monday, August 10 2009 at 08:00 PM

looks like we have some of the same schools in our cycles man...glad to see your doing your thing. Keep it going

Hey,
Monday, March 09 2009 at 08:00 PM

Prepare yourself for a lot of racist comments to start popping up. There is some hacker writing horrid things on everyone's comments using random user's names. Apparently, its not the users. So head's up: Mr Todd White probably didn't write that.

It's all good...
Tuesday, April 07 2009 at 08:00 PM

Not really worried about it, thanks though. I figure if your going to be a lawyer you can't get upset any idiot says something you don't like.

Congrats...
Sunday, November 01 2009 at 07:00 PM

On Boston. It looks like our cycles are going to be pretty similar. Do you have a geographic preference? Or particular leanings toward one school or another? (based on something other than rank)

Sunday, November 29 2009 at 07:00 PM

Do you go to FSU????? I only ask because of your username...

Thanks!
Wednesday, November 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for the congrats. Congrats on your acceptances as well, and I'm sure that you will have many more! As far as Cornell, I think that we should hear around mid-December...

Thanks
Sunday, November 01 2009 at 07:00 PM

Yeah. One of CCN down is more than I could have dreamed. So excited. So ready. Fingers crossed for your purple envelope. It's the most beautiful thing.

Thanks so much!
Monday, March 09 2009 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on Duke as well. You are really cleaning up up there.

Numbers twin
Tuesday, October 20 2009 at 08:00 PM

I feel the Columbia pain. Good luck with the rest of your cycle.

Sunday, September 06 2009 at 08:00 PM

We are twins number wise! I was placed on hold at Texas and got a call from Boston! I'm hoping to be in at Duke too! Congrats on the early acceptances!!!

Congrats
Wednesday, November 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on Cornell :)

...
Sunday, November 01 2009 at 07:00 PM

Sorry about the bad string there, but it looks like things have definitely turned around for you. I'm really curious as to when the flood is gonna come. I'm thinking that by the second week of January it will all be over. We'll see.

Yay U of C
Wednesday, November 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Congrats! So jealous.... :)

Congrats...
Sunday, November 01 2009 at 07:00 PM

That's huge!! I take it they are in the lead at the moment. How did they notify you?

YAY!
Monday, January 04 2010 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on it all!

Monday, January 04 2010 at 07:00 PM

thanks I'll consider the advice. What state school do you go to? I have a feeling it may be FSU (I hope not boo!!) :). You can probably guess now I'm from the one the only the greatest "the U". :)

Yeah...
Sunday, November 01 2009 at 07:00 PM

I wish Chicago's admitted students stuff was a bit earlier. I want to make a decision as soon as possible and March would work better. It is pretty much in the lead at this point (despite location). We'll see; the cycle is finally winding down.

Haha
Wednesday, September 30 2009 at 08:00 PM

And they're definitely all true

Excellent Cycle
Monday, November 30 2009 at 07:00 PM

Saturday, December 12 2009 at 07:00 PM

yeah. i went to one school and did really poorly before going to another one and graduating magna.

Duke financial aid news
Friday, December 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Got the email too and keep hoping to see something in the mail. I also haven't gotten anything from UT in the mail regarding $ and I thought that was supposed to come like a week after acceptance... Hoping to hear soon so I can start narrowing down my options.

Berks!
Sunday, September 06 2009 at 08:00 PM

well thanks so much for the well wishes! I've been put into faculty review so I'll be hearing this week about Berks! Are you in FR? Good luck! I would LOVE more than anything to get into Berkeley! ah!

BU scholly
Friday, December 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Congrats! I'm hoping for a something like that in the mail...

Your cycle is amazing!!
Saturday, January 23 2010 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on all your amazing acceptances! You are going to do great things! I wish you the best of luck on the rest of your cycle and at whichever of the schools you decide to attend!

Duke $$
Friday, December 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

sorry to here about Boalt but nice work on the Duke $$. It's starting to look pretty likely that I'll end up there next year...

dooo it!
Friday, December 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Demand more money! I feel like they make up this stuff anyways. If it looks like UT isn't gonna come through with any $ I'm going to try to get something out of their matching program with the Duke offer. My fiance's from Austin and we'd both love to get back to the warrrrrrm weather.

NO...
Saturday, October 10 2009 at 08:00 PM

I too have not heard anything from NYU...anything this late in the game I figure is either a waitlist or an acceptance. Goodluck

congrats!
Friday, January 08 2010 at 07:00 PM

Thanks! Congrats to you too, especially on the $$ from WashU (my alma mater, i'm a big fan!)

Its your turn now!
Friday, December 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on the full ride to WASHU! I visited washu undergrad and thought it was lovely. AND congrats on not even having a sticker price at UChicago. Are you leaning anywhere now?!

It must be nice
Friday, December 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

to be into such a great school and have some sort of direction as to where you're going! I had a feeling you'd choose "the place where fun goes to die"... I'm still holding out for Stanford (notably the polar opposite of UChi:)

Not really...
Sunday, November 01 2009 at 07:00 PM

It feels bad to say that, but I'm not really swayed at all. I had a goal of T6 or UVa and that's still pretty much where I am these days. You got 21k from Chi; that's a nice chunk off the bottom line. Of the schools I am in at now only NYU and UVa can really get my attention, and even those probably can't. It sorta feels like a done deal.

So....
Wednesday, November 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

U of C it is? :)

Wednesday, November 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Yea, I can only come on the last day because Northwestern's is that same weekend. :( But when I did one of the "Day in the Life" programs, and they said that the ASW was going to be really good.

Chicago options
Wednesday, November 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

(I copy and pasted this from something I wrote in someone else's comment section) It's crazy because U of C began as my first choice and I just applied to NU because it was in Chicago (where my geographic preference lies). However, after visiting U of C, I didn't get a good vibe and I ended up loving NU after visiting. They are so similar in numbers (ranking, job placement, starting salary, etc) So i think it basically boils down to preferences. A few included their class size, international programs, collegiality, and their location. I have no doubt that I have a equal chance at doing what I want to do coming from both schools, but I think I would enjoy myself more at NU. But I'm still going to go to both ASWs just to be sure...

Wednesday, November 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Lol well I'll probably be a Chicago girl, I just don't know where in Chicago (Hyde Park or Gold Coast)... But congrats on choosing a school and Chicago is such a great city! I'll see you on the 10th! :)

Wednesday, November 04 2009 at 07:00 PM

Ya and the funny thing is that every time I go out to a bar or club by NU I meet someone who either goes to U of C, or is admitted and attending. So I'll probably see you either way. lol
