Hi! Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007 at 1:50 am
Hey, looks like we have similar numbers. Good luck!!
Number twin! Sunday, October 7th, 2007 at 2:00 am
Good luck this cycle.
what? Monday, November 19th, 2007 at 7:42 pm
If you have a good enough reason to go to New Haven to study law, you would get off your butt and get that 250 done! :)
After all, half of the folks in Yale have numbers lower than yours.

Are you implying you were nervous about Michigan with 3.91 and 172? Really?

I have a couple of favorites, but I'm probably going to have to visit to decide. How about you?
Congrats! Thursday, December 20th, 2007 at 1:53 pm
On all of your well-deserved acceptances and those still to come!
Hey Thursday, December 20th, 2007 at 3:40 pm
Good luck on Stanford, bro - we have very similar info./stats!
I dont know... Thursday, December 20th, 2007 at 4:13 pm
I guess it's not so much that I'm sick of Berkeley ( which I loved loved loved undergrad), as that I'd really love to go somewhere new for a few years. I've lived in California all my life and will probably come back here after ls so 3 years somewhere East sound good. What about you? You'll have a gammut of choices! What's your top pick?
Yeah Saturday, December 22nd, 2007 at 1:12 pm
I hear ya! Almost went to Oberlin myself but ended up at Case Western. Palo Alto would be a nice change indeed.
Congrats! Thursday, December 27th, 2007 at 7:44 pm
On Virginia!
hey Thursday, January 10th, 2008 at 6:57 pm
I got my Toby Stock call today and wasn't sure if it went ok...I'm glad to see that you were in the same boat and congrats on all your acceptances!
Michigan Friday, January 11th, 2008 at 1:18 am
Who knows, it makes about as much sense as you getting deferred at Northwestern. By the way, congrats on Stanford, that's awesome! :)
TITLE REQUIRED Friday, January 11th, 2008 at 8:46 am
haha, thanks for the comforting words. no michael richards-isms, but lots of "you knows" and talking too fast. i studied abroad in london, where did you study?
Stanford Saturday, January 12th, 2008 at 3:35 pm
Congrats on Stanford!!
Congrats! Saturday, January 12th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
On Stanford - that's awesome.
Sorry to hear about the NU deferral - totally weird phenomenon, if you ask me. But you're not the only one...and clearly, you have better options anyway!
best of luck making your decision

No particular first choice yet, as I'm trying not to fall in love with a place and then get dinged. Of the places that I've been admitted to so far, it's hard not to say Harvard (they also have a particular concurrent degree I'm very interested in), but the Darrow or equivalent could maybe sway me away from there, especially since Michigan also offers cross-registration in the area I'm interested in.
Congrats! Monday, January 14th, 2008 at 4:45 pm
On Penn!
Whoa Monday, January 14th, 2008 at 6:36 pm
You're demolishing this cycle like none other. Chuck Norris would be proud!
Stanford Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 at 9:52 pm
This guy who goes there stalked me and tried to ruin my life, and I didn't want to risk having to put up with him again, so no Stanford for me.
Congrats Thursday, January 17th, 2008 at 1:25 am
on Stanford and Penn!
Early picks Thursday, January 17th, 2008 at 8:44 pm
Well Harvard and Columbia (with money hopefully) have always been my top choices but if I hear from Y/S I would def have to check them out before I could decide. And money anywhere could also tip the scales, haha.
Congrats! Thursday, January 24th, 2008 at 7:31 pm
On Columbia and NYU!
wow Friday, January 25th, 2008 at 12:36 am
Can I just marvel at your cycle for a little bit?
your post Friday, January 25th, 2008 at 1:47 am
LOL. you are hilarious. i wish my personal statement was that scandalous. (geez, why couldn't my parents have been a bit more dysfunctional earlier in my childhood?)
i'm feeling pretty great about my cycle right now...would love to hear something good from NU, but I really can't complain with the choices I have now! Philly, NYC, and DC are all exciting.

Stanford Sunday, January 27th, 2008 at 2:51 am
Weird... you got into Stanford and decided not to apply to yale. I got into Stanford and decided TO apply to yale. Anyway, man, i hope I see you at the ASW in Palo Alto. You leaning toward Stanford I guess then?
Columbia Sunday, January 27th, 2008 at 9:57 pm
well I'm in Columbia now (found out on Super Friday, with Stanford and Chicago), but Harvard is another matter... maybe in a few months :)
Congrats! Please Withdraw Monday, January 28th, 2008 at 11:52 pm
Congratulations! If you are really only considering Stanford and Harvard, can you withdraw from Berkeley now?
re: picture frame Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 at 12:23 am
remember our plan is to withdraw from our safeties at the very last minute (i'm thinking late may) so we can screw over other applicants.
re: swag Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 at 3:20 pm
Great idea. I'm looking for free t-shirts, blankets, and mugs. so let me know if you get some good swag.
Congrats Friday, February 1st, 2008 at 3:34 am
Seems like you've been getting a decent amount of hate here and on LSD lately; just wanted to extend a genuine congrats on your success. Don't apologize for it, withdraw when you feel like it, and enjoy next fall at whichever fantastic school you choose to attend.
Michigan/NYU Friday, February 1st, 2008 at 5:10 pm
As a matter of fact, I too have a thing for Michigan. Frontrunner at this point, pending a couple decisions and financial aid.
Congrats! Friday, February 8th, 2008 at 12:42 am
On Chicago!
Nice Friday, February 8th, 2008 at 9:40 am
Wow, great cycle. Congratulations!
Thanks! Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 at 8:50 pm
Yes, I'm going to make every effort to get to the Stanford ASW...the only problem is that my work commitments kind of prevent me from going to the Harvard March open house, so I might have to double up on Harvard & Stanford that same weekend; we'll see how it goes!
I imagine I'll see you there??

thanks Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 at 12:31 pm
for the good wishes! i'm really excited with my choices. not sure if there will be any more good news for me, but it would be pretty mind-boggling if I got into any of the places I have left.
looks like you're in store for a LOT of merit money, btw.

levy offer Monday, March 17th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
hey just wondering how you were notified of your levy offer. were you emailed and if so, who emailed you?
emails from penn Tuesday, March 18th, 2008 at 6:51 pm
i got those same too emails from penn about the levy! very disappointing. i think they still haven't made a decision and randi, the woman who sen t the email, mistook a nomination for an offer.
thanks Monday, March 24th, 2008 at 11:45 am
thanks for the congratulations (from a month ago...i clearly haven't logged on in a while)! i've accepted the offer at harvard, maybe i'll see you there! if not, best of luck wherever you go. and can i say WOW about you tutoring your dad for the GED?
Thank you! Monday, April 7th, 2008 at 11:42 pm
Congrats to you, too - it must feel awfully nice to be narrowed down to three! Withdrawing is so cathartic...
Will I see you at the Stanford ASW?
