We went in different directions. I went to UCSB for two years and transferred to UCD. Congratulations and good luck the rest of the way.

First choice

My top choice changes often. I have a strong personal interest in Columbia Law School, but Vanderbilt and USC are decisions that I am eagerly awaiting. How about you? These are some good schools. Is King Hall a clear top choice for you?

UC Davis

I thought about applying to UCD, but chose not to because I didn't want to be upset with my alma mater if I were rejected. You have a high UGPA and all of these schools know that UC's don't inflate grades. I expect you to have more choices before this process ends. I'm rooting for you on UC Davis. As far as numbers, I'm not sure I have the numbers for Columbia or Vandy either. Having said that, I have seen admits to Columbia on LSN with numbers lower than mine.

Loyola WL

Did Loyola JUST waitlist you today? I've been dying to hear back from them without. What does the status on the website say for your account?

I decided to only pay fees at UOP because they were giving me a scholarship, the cost of living is cheaper than santa clara and the friendliness and support I felt at the admit day was unparalleled. I went to SCU's Admit Day which was fine, but I get a sense that you're going to have to work to get support where at UOP it's always there waiting for you. I felt this to be an important factor but, to each their own. I thought SCU's campus to be the best by far... even over Pepperdine who has the beach! Good luck on your decision.

if you have any more specific questions about the campuses, I can do my best to answer them. However, I really think that you should try to visit the schools before dropping money on deposits... you might hate it!

I can't believe its taking hastings this long to get back to you. *wishing you good luck*

Loyola

Holy crap, Congrats on LOYOLA! You're my twin... very similar numbers... I was also waitlisted and then given admission - granted I think I had to hustle alot more to get my name off of that waitlist. We're DEFINITELY the lucky ones - when I was speaking with the admissions office, the director of admissions told me that last year, only 5 people were taken off of the waitlist. They are expecting to take off anywhere from 10-20 this year, but its too early to tell. CONGRATS! How did they notify you? Janelle gave me a call this past friday

Yeah, I went to Westmont and have been living la vida Santa Barbara since then. I left you my email, so gimme a shout and let's hang sometime. I'm stoked for law school.

Congrats on Loyola!!!

I spoke with Suzanne on the phone and she gave me a couple days to decide - but I will turn them down. Maybe you're next in line! Good luck ~+~

Just thought that I would let you know that I withdrew from Hastings. Good luck to you and cross your fingers for me at CU. Hopefully I will get in with my new LSAT.

Yay!

I'm sooo happy for you! I really felt upset, like you had been wronged by the admissions process. I'm glad one top notch school saw how great you really are. CONGRATULATIONS!!! You deserve it!

No more Loyola???
