Really Penn? What a joke.

Leave me a message if we are in the same boat. I'd like to get to know other applicants.

p.s. - I hate this website because it makes me nervous but I can't get myself away.

Finally withdrew from Chicago today, it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
Its UVA unless Stanford comes through!
Nice Harvard on my birthday- real cool. I wasnt planning on going anyway!

Why do I keep wasting time looking at this site? I'll be focusing more on civil rights/consititutional law, law & literature, etc...but still, social justice and environmental law are both less popular/mainstream. The question just hit me, though: with your business major/work...are you planning more to keep a business in check, or to help 'em find the loopholes, or...?

congrats

on the first 3 of many acceptances! Actually, I doubt I'll practice law, either. Maybe. We'll see.

That's a surprising deferral, but then, I got a totally shocking rejection from BC, so I guess anything can happen in this crazy law school game. Good luck with the rest of your apps ... Happy New Year! ;-)

What are you sending in as a supplement? I feel like I should at least send a letter or something saying that I'm still v. interested to the schools that deferred me, but I'm not sure if thats overkill.

It makes me feel better that our numbers are better than most pending apps - honestly I have not looked at it, but the thing about LSN is that who knows how many people with high numbers aren't on it :( I'm actually pretty worried - I sent in additional essays to H, and updated grades (I had a 4.0 last semester in all 300 level courses), and I am hoping that can tilt the balance...I also made it clear how much I want to go to H Good luck and I'll be checking on you too!

congrats!

What a lovely cycle. Good luck with the last couple.

Congrats!!

Those are great acceptances. You should really start withdrawing, though, from the schools that are no longer serious options for you. It would really help out your fellow applicants....

Thanks...

penn was never in my top school list. although they are a good school, i cant imagine ever picking them over UVA, Chicago, or NYU. i am disappointed i got waitlisted though. as far as visiting, i am going to NYU this friday, i am going to pass on UVAs events for $ reasons, and im going to try to get to chicago for the admit weekend if i can find cheap airfare. good luck with your schools the rest of the way, youve got a nice selection to choose from.

hey man! I visited UVa last Thursday, before I went to Duke's admitted student program. It's def. down to those two and Penn for me, so I feel like I should go back to get a better feel for the place. I don't know if I'm going to be able though. Are you leaning anywhere yet?

At least you got into NYU and Columbia. I'm dying to get in....Waitlisted at both. Surprised about Penn, though. Did you think you had a shot at Harvard after you were deferred?

Congrats on UVA
