I founded a program to send books and other school supplies from the United States to refugees in Kenya. I was also a varsity cross-country runner.

I had a rather unique upbringing, having grown up in a Kenyan refugee camp. Through a scholarship, I had the opportunity to attend college in the United States. My personal statement regards my mission to act as an international attorney in upholding refugee rights in Kenya and surrounding nations.
