You're Right!

We are practically twins! Any suggestions for additions to my list?

Private Tuition
Thursday, July 19 2007 at 08:00 PM

So based on your research you have discovered that Miami is worth the $33k/year price tag? I'm looking to go to Miami but that debt load is unnerving to say the least.

Advice
Thursday, July 19 2007 at 08:00 PM

Thanks for all the advice! I think I'll keep my eye on FSU or Miami for their career prospects. Good luck with the cycle though, it's going to be starting up pretty quickly. :)

blah?
Thursday, July 19 2007 at 08:00 PM

Those comments posted by 'blah' were not made by me. I'm not going to ask for school advice and then insult anyone who offers it.

Complete
Tuesday, March 07 2006 at 07:00 PM

The day they tell you. For example: they may have requested your file, but your LSAT score (or whatever) is not in yet so you cannot go complete. Once the school says you are complete they can begin to review your file... if the adcoms are ready.

Waiting
Thursday, July 19 2007 at 08:00 PM

How are you enjoying the waiting game? :)

good luck!
Tuesday, July 10 2007 at 08:00 PM

good luck to almost a numbers twin...any advice on other schools to apply to with these numbers?

Fee Waiver?
Friday, February 09 2007 at 07:00 PM

How do you know when you have a fee waiver for a school? Do they email you?

thanks!
Monday, June 25 2007 at 08:00 PM

seems hastings finally requested your report too. here's to hoping for the best :)

EA at Fordham?
Friday, February 09 2007 at 07:00 PM

Didn't realize Fordham had EA. It's not binding is it? I didn't see it on their app .. ? Best of luck to you! :)

UF & FSU
Sunday, July 22 2007 at 08:00 PM

Hi, I'm applying to UF and FSU, too. I can't wait until decisions come out. Good luck.

Fordham
Tuesday, March 07 2006 at 07:00 PM

I think a lot of people are emailing/calling the school and asking if they are complete. I've gone complete everywhere else (other then the 2 I sent yesterday), so I am not worried yet. If you see a ton of people with the same complete date and you did not get a letter, then I would worry. (Look at Cardozo for an example)

Fordham
Tuesday, March 07 2006 at 07:00 PM

Well, It looks like only 3 people say they have gone complete in the last 3 days... there would be much more if then sent out a mass email. Maybe we should both call on Monday.

UF
Sunday, July 22 2007 at 08:00 PM

I visited UF and they checked my file for me that day and told me I was complete. I've heard that a lot of people are calling for their status. You are complete there after you receive the email with the link for the additional info and the application fee and complete all of that. The wait is definitely annoying me, too. People started hearing from UF on 11-21 last year and they are already hearing from FSU this cycle. Hopefully it won't be too much longer (although I see you haven't yet applied to FSU..no worries, it's still early if you decide to)

Sorry
Wednesday, April 18 2007 at 08:00 PM

Hi, I don't think I ever look at my comments... but yes, I'm just basing that off of the processed application date.

Thanks!
Sunday, July 22 2007 at 08:00 PM

You sound so much like me. I really don't like situations that I can't control. This whole process just seems so out of my hands right now! Thank goodness for this site or I would be driving my family nuts. Thanks for the luck with GULC. I really have no chance there, only 1 person on this site got in with my numbers last year. I'm not so naive as to believe that I'm special enough that they are likely to take me...still, it's worth a shot! I don't know much about Fordham. I'm going to go check up on it now out of curiousity. Good luck there!

Fordham Decision Release
Tuesday, March 07 2006 at 07:00 PM

Not really. 1. I am sure I am a reject, so I am not too anxious about hearing back. 2. None of them were PT.

Fordham Status
Tuesday, March 07 2006 at 07:00 PM

The status is worse for me. It still has my info from last cycle so it says something to the effect of: Current Status: Complete Decision: Denied It gets me EVERYTIME I look.

American
Tuesday, March 07 2006 at 07:00 PM

Thanks. I got WLed there last cycle, so it was nice to get some love this time. I guess applying early (or not super late) makes a difference... to at least one school.

UF
Monday, October 08 2007 at 08:00 PM

I don't think I'll be hearing back this week because of my index, but you actually might because you are just under what they have been admitting so far. Good luck!!

Fordham
Tuesday, March 07 2006 at 07:00 PM

Congrats (I guess) on your deferal. I was not as lucky.

Fordham
Sunday, June 17 2007 at 08:00 PM

Not a total loss...I hope you get in there...hopefully I'll have similar fate but I think I'm a point too low on my LSAT.

Hey again
Tuesday, November 06 2007 at 07:00 PM

also, it wouldn't hurt to take the Feb. LSAT

Hopefully!
Tuesday, October 16 2007 at 08:00 PM

I'm crossing my fingers for you! ^_^

Congrats on USD!
Thursday, September 07 2006 at 08:00 PM

I also got a super fast acceptance... hopefully we will both get more of those in the coming weeks!

hey
Tuesday, October 09 2007 at 08:00 PM

Just set up an acct and as you can see we have the same numbers, but only school in common is Fordham PT. I too am expecting deferral. I went there undergrad and have LORs from 2 legit professors, so who knows if that will help? Feel free to make any comments and good luck!

No problem
Thursday, February 14 2008 at 07:00 PM

Ha yea I figured that is what you meant. So according to the 2.20.08 app status checker on fordham's site, I am WL'd. Is this different from Deferred? Is one more promising than the other, or are they basically synonymous?

Fordham
Thursday, February 14 2008 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for the info. I spoke to someone in admissions yesterday and she told me basically the same thing as you...only difference is that she said that "2nd evaluations" can come off the waitlist too. I agree w/ what you say about them taking a longer time for the p/t applicants. However, she also told me that continuing to express an interest helps (bi-weekly emails, phone calls, etc.) Then your app might get another look rather than someone who indicated they would like to be considered p/t, as a safety/back-up plan, but really have no interest in it. Whats worse for me is if I get into Cardozo's May program, that will start when I will presumably still be on the WL at Fordham. That will be an interesting decision...

UF
Sunday, June 17 2007 at 08:00 PM

Congrats man! I know you've waited awhile for that one as well...I think I'm the only UF undergrad that didn't get something today.

UF
Sunday, July 22 2007 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on UF!!!!!

unlv
Friday, November 09 2007 at 07:00 PM

congrats on unlv! maybe we'll have class together.

Where?
Sunday, July 22 2007 at 08:00 PM

So, are you coming to UF or UNLV?
