Sorry, I know you're probably pretty perturbed by it (evidence in your additional info) but how on earth did you get rejected by NCCU?! Did you apply really late or something?
I applied to NCCU in February. I have no honor code violations or charges against me. *shrugs* I was actually considering it for the low tuition cost, but oh well. No clue. They've been waitlisting and rejecting the applicants with LSATS in the 160s. It's unfortunate they're punishing hard work.
Sorry to hear about NCCU. Did they mail or email your final decision? I applied back October '08, waitlisted in April, and haven't heard anything since. Everytime I call I get a different answer regarding waitlist status. I was even told, that NC residents were often given priority for admission. Not sure if I should throw in the towel on this one.
Hey, I noticed that we applied to UNC at similar times. Did you ever get any email/notification that they received your application or anything? Good luck this cycle!
Hey! I'm assuming you re-took the LSAT? I can't imagine them waitlisting you with those numbers AND being in state (of course I'm assuming you're in state). I'm really hoping UNC is a bit more responsive and timely this year, I heard last years cycle was a bit of a mess... Unless they accept me, in which case they can take as long as they want. :)
Congrats on Campbell! I take it UNC is your top choice? I got into Wake last year with worse numbers than you, so you have a good chance there!

I, also, really like Campbell but I am worried about its reach outside of NC. So I guess the simple answer is that its the most prestigious school in NC that I can afford. I also like the general feel of UNC. So unless Duke accepts me with something close to a full ride (LOL), its UNC for me. I don't think that happens too often with waitlisted admits!
The wl was a surprise for me but they are just all over the place this year with acceptances. I'm thinking I will stay on until June but I'm depositing at Wake Forest next week. Honestly, I feel so good about Wake. I really feel like they are the perfect fit for me, I only wish they came with UNC's price tag.
ahhh I hope so! I'm nervous! I know they are a GPA school and I had a rough first year because of some stuff going back home--plus Duke academics are pretty rough as it is, but after freshman year and overcoming some family issues my gpa skyrocketed to about a 3.8. I'm hoping they look highly on that and coming from Duke!!! eeeeeeek i keep telling myself to be patient.
hey when you get a chance can you please withdraw from the schools you are not going to if you haven't already? Like Elon? Many of us are not as fortunate as you to have been accepted at UNC. Congrats!!
