UNC at in-state tuition is one of the best bangs for the buck on the east coast. That will be hard to pass up. Congrats

You know, I really didn't, but from looking at previous years, it is doubtful that I would receive anything. I did mention in my withdrawal that the sole reason was financially, so I would think they would let me know if I was up for any scholarship consideration. Congrats on your excellent cycle. I really think you should aim a little higher, but UNC (or Duke, of course) would be fantastic. Why no Wake?

I understand completely. That makes a lot of sense. As for me, my favorites are Tennessee (thinking I'm out there though), South Carolina, Louisville, Memphis, & Ole Miss. Would you consider Campbell? How much $$ would it take to consider?

Congrats on the waitlist at Duke. I hope you will get off it with an acceptance, of course, but I am glad (for my own sake as well as yours) that you haven't gotten outright rejected. My chief anxiety is that they will look at my application and laugh hysterically at my audacity. Your numbers give me hope and inspiration, because we are very similar in that respect. Wow! Congrats! Good luck with the decision that you have ahead. I was once told that, among NC schools, UNC is best if you are interested in Gov/politics, Duke for corporate, and Campbell for litigation. Although I guess the in-state tuition for you at UNC and NCCU must be tempting.

Yeah, lol. Was a little disappointed, but hey, I guess beggars can't be choosers. I'll ride out the waitlist; maybe even schedule a visit. Hopefully they get to it sooner rather than later. I just praise God because if I had gotten what I deserved, I probably would have been rejected. But I see you've chosen! Very wise choice and congratulations on your decision. God bless!

On UNC! What made you decide to go there instead of Campbell?

Yes the SP was for the PBAP. I am very excited about this even if it is the PBAP. Campbell has been my number 1 choice!!! Congrats on your acceptance to UNC!!!

Attending the ASD isn't really an option for me right now, but I would have liked to see the law school. Regardless, I think that UNC is also the best choice for me, so I am not too worried about it.

Congrats on UNC. Great school! I went there for my undergraduate degree and the campus is awesome. Unfortunately my LSAT did not make me competitive enough to apply. There is nothing I would have loved more than three more years on that campus, but I am very excited about NCCU and all the opportunity ahead.

As much as I love my other top choices (William & Mary is my favorite), I think they are all peer schools, so I decided to go with the school that I thought was the best fit for me (academically & financially). It was a hard decision but I think things will work out well at UNC.
