Hello, Thanks for the comment! Congrats on your UNH acceptance! When did you get accepted? My file has been in review for over a month now, and I'm kind of worried that it's not a good thing :(

Thanks!

Congrats on UNH! I was actually up there today to see the school, it seems really nice. Have you had a chance to visit? What are your top choices?

Thanks for the well-wishes on my wall. I wish you the best as well with the rest of your cycle. I added you to my watch list.... :)

fee waivers
Sunday, October 10 2010 at 08:00 PM

Most of the schools I have fee waivers from contacted me through LSAC's candidate referral service, but some of them are schools that just don't have an application fee. I definitely think that I applied to too many schools, though.

Thanks

Thanks for the love. I see you workin' it. Keep up hope and we'll both be taking the bar in about 3 years. Later.

The school was nice. It was really small, but all the classrooms and stuff seemed really new. Also the few staff members who were there were really nice and helpful. Concord, NH is also a pretty cool place, but it's a pretty small town. If you have any more specific questions or what ever, just send me a message! My first choice is CUNY cause I really want to do public interest work and I'd love to be in NY. After that it's probably going to come down to $$, so we'll see. Good luck with UConn, I'll definitely be checking up on ya!

I Agree

We have similar scores. I agree with you about not letting one's scores dictate one's prospect of collegiate success. I too received very low scores on all of my standardized tests and yet still graduated with over a 3.9 cumulative GPA and a double major. There is hope for us yet. I know there is.... somewhere.

SAT

If you haven't already done so and if your SAT scores really were very low (as in not good enough to go to the school you went to), you should make an addendum explaining that you have a history of outperforming your standardized test scores. With your GPA and softs, that could give you a shot at more of your schools. Best wishes.

Thanks. Hamline's attractive to me solely because of their Health Law Clinic. Nevertheless, I hear you in regards to the low SAT/high undergraduate performance. I personally believe the LSAT can't test one's ability to work hard, persevere and be willing to put forth the additional time needed to excell. I would have a higher GPA, but my science courses (O Chem 1 and 2, Physics, BioChem, and more) brought it down. Otherwise, 4.0's.

Hi LemonSct, Your profile is very similar to mine! Are you going to ride out the WL thing? Kind of a bummer, to have to be in limbo..until the day school starts! I hope you get into the school you have your heart set on. Good Luck and Best Wishes,
