no real first choice yet; don't want to fall in love with somewhere and then not get in. Visits later on will help, I think, and of course money would be nice! Best of luck with the rest of your apps!

hey man what do you think... being deferred at cornell...does it leave any hope to be accepted in the normal cycle or that has become just an utopy? i don't really understand how bad it is probably...

It was a nice long-weekend present. Hopefully, we'll both be getting more good news from a number of schools soon - maybe Columbia this week??

Perhaps this will come out wrong, but seeing your WL at Penn and deferral at Cornell make me feel a little better (in the context of all your other acceptances) (I was rej at Penn and deferred at Cornell). Congrats on everything you've gotten so far - I'm sure there are more acceptances to come!
I have no idea what I'm going to be do, but I'm sure I'll see you at the Harvard ASW!

...still no Columbia. I guess I'm getting a little greedy after hearing such great news last week, but I just want this all to be over (or at least, to just be worried about $$ and not acceptances). Congrats on the USC scholarship - that's fantastic! How did you hear about it?
