Congrats on UGA acceptance! We have similar numbers and are both URM. I'm still waiting though...*crosses fingers* Good Luck with the other schools! Btw, do you go to UF? (I do, I just noticed you go to a public school in Florida)

Well I was hoping to hear from Florida State and UGA before Thanksgiving, but I'm starting to lose hope on that one, so I might add a few other schools to the list. Staying in Florida is appealing because it is so cheap! Do you have a #1 choice?

Sighs, looks like we've both been deferred at Georgetown. In fact, right now we have the exact same news, in at UGA, deferred at Georgetown. And the wait continues...yes, we'll have to keep hope alive. LOL.

I didn't really have a top choice going into the cycle b/c I was really upset about my lsat score. After doing more research, I'm really looking into going to UGA. I even found a firm I really like in ATL and would like to try to get a summer associate position at and they take numerous students from UGA.

It's the truth though. Same decisions so far = twins. We'll get through.

I am a Gator. My top choices/dreams are Northwestern, Cornell and UPenn. If none of those work out, I will most likely end up at UGA over UF.

Now I'm jealous of two schools! lol Congrats on FSU! And I was right about your UF acceptance being on the way. Is Florida up for consideration for you? I bet that in state tuition is looking even more enticing now that you've been accepted.

Did Florida State's status checker go from "application complete" to "decision mailed" or did it have an intermediate status like "file in review"?

This is hilarious because that's beginning to seem like a real possibility. I see we have 5 schools in common that we've yet to hear from. If we hear at the same time, I'm officially convinced that's the case!!

I went decision today too...I'll cross my fingers for the both of us (though hopefully i'll get my letter today because I'm at Vandy undergrad) I don't think I'd make it thru the weekend wondering...

Congrats on all your acceptances, esp. UNC since that's where I'll be in the Fall (99.5% sure.) I went to UNC for undergrad and it's an awesome school. Matter of fact, I was on Franklin Street Monday night after we won the NCAA title :) Good Luck!
