$120,000 from GW is very nice. Good luck with your decision making process (and the pendings!).

Congrats on G-Dubs

Congratulations on the GW scholarship. Did you apply for anything special? Do you have any outstanding soft factors that you think may have contributed to the huge scholarship?

Hey, can you please share more about that scholarship money from Fordham? The amount is total for three years, right? Do they require that you maintain a certain GPA to keep it? Did you receive any correspondence from Fordham after you received an acceptance email and before you heard about the scholarship? How did you hear? (phone/mail/email) Sorry for a million questions, but I am really curious. Thanks! :)

Thanks a lot for your reply! I'll have to wait and see what's that mysterious letter in the mail they told me to look out for:)

I am sending my first deposit to Fordham, but I still hope something good comes out of my wait for NYU. If not, I'll just hang out on the waitlists and see what happens. But yeah, so far it is Fordham. What about you? Ready to make a decision?

thanks

I'm very happy about it! I see you have some nice acceptances yourself!

congrats to you as well! i finally decided on duke because at ASW i met the best people and loved the location. plus the staff was really helpful and nice. so i think i'm ready for some rural fun (plus the cost of living is so low!) what are you leaning towards?

great,

we need more bears! anyhow, the town is def not a berkeley community. it's more of a small town feel with forests etc. but honestly, i want that kind of life right now because i don't want to be paying high rent in a big city with lots of distractions. i'm looking forward to weekend backyard bbq's and running in the woods etc. i figure i'll have plenty of time to live in a big city when i'm working and have more money. but, the drawback is that it's not like berk with telegraph/bancroft/college and all the other lil shops etc. you should def visit!

congrats

looks like you've already withdrawn, but I definitely wouldn't move to Durham for the area. I lived in Chapel Hill for 4 years and met way too many Duke students trying to get out of Durham for some fun. Good luck with your decisions!

I am still in limbo at this point, but it looks like I am definitely not going to a New York school. I visited UChicago this past weekend and loved it; however, Harvard is still pretty appealing.

congrats

congrats on CLS, from a fellow Golden Bear. I was wondering if you ever considered retake? I'm kind of in the same situation.
