Great scores and schools. How did you study for the LSAT and for how long? Any personal advice? Thanks.
Yes, it looks like we're aiming at the same spots. BU sent me a letter last week offering the scholarship. I was a little surprised at the amount, but maybe they are trying to keep pace with the big awards GW gave out last month. I am hoping that BC follows suit. Right now my top choice is Georgetown. I really liked it there after a visit. I'm still waiting on Michigan and think I have the best shot there of my remaining applications. However, BU and BC have a strong appeal because of the money and the fact that I'm from the area. Do you think I'd be crazy to pick BU/BC with 30k over Georgetown or even Michigan (not that I'm being presumptuous)? What's going through your head these days? We're fortunate to have some great options.

Just saw your post...(For full disclosure Yale was my first choice) I chose Cornell for a few reasons. First and foremost, I had a great experience there. Their law school (especially the amazing law library) is what I always imagined a law school being like. It felt like it would be an amazing place to study law for three years- a great place to train to be a lawyer. I was also drawn to the fact that the law school is not a diploma factory and the class sizes are small- I dont like being a number in a mob. Finally, the faculty members I meet were fantastic. They went out of their way to listen to my interests and discuss the school with me. Im not sure if I can give you much advice about Cornell compared to Georgetown. I wasnt very impressed with Georgetown and did not end up applying there. You should feel great either way- youve done well for yourself. Feel free to ask anymore questions if you think I could be helpful.
Personally I'm leaning towards UVa right now (in-state tuition is an added bonus). I'm going out to visit at the end of March. DC is definitely a great place to be if you are interested in politics. I visited Gtown earlier this year, and really liked it. The facilities are great, and the students were friendly and only had good things to say about the school.
What's the deal?? I have a 164/3.6 and actually thought I had a legit chance until I started searching these profiles... I'm shocked you got rejected. What kind of chance does that leave me with? :(
Did you get any info about Cornell's job placement outside of NY? I'm a CA native and I want to return after law school...I'm visiting at the end of April but in the mean time I've got to decide if I should keep other schools in play. Merci!

For the info. Cornell feels like the right school for me but I want to make sure I won't be stuck on the East Coast permanently :)

Hi. I saw your posts on LSN and saw that you got into Penn late in the cycle. You also mentioned to stay in touch with adcomms. Do you have any advice as to how to do this? Phone? Email? I'd really appreciate any advice since I recently got waitlisted too, and Penn is my top choice. Thanks and I hope Cornell is treating you well.
Any thoughts about Cornell v. Georgetown? I'm leaning towards Gtown because of the location, its Supreme Court Institute and its high marks for clinical training...but who knows. Any advice is welcomed
