Additional info & updates

I have a sinking feeling that I won't get in anywhere.

I'd love to go to Pepperdine, that would be a dream come true, but I would be *more* than happy to go to Chapman as well. Unfortunately, I'll probably be dinged at Pepperdine and waitlisted at Chapman if I'm *lucky*...Roger Williams University here I come....arrrrrrg. Rhode Island can't be that bad can it?

3-3-06: Acceptance to Calif Western (small envelope)
Acceptance to Roger Williams University (renewable scholarship)

3-29-06: Ok...Loyola online status check just went to "Decision"...gulp...should get that fat rejection in a few days.

Pepperdine...USD, Santa Clara, Wisconsin, Penn St., Fordham...I pray to thee oh mighty law school gods...please bestow upon me the priviledge of attending one of these schools!

The waiting....it's driving me NUTS

April 20: scholarship $$ at Whittier

hello there... did you apply to hastings through LEOP?

PSU $

Yeah, I waited expectantly for a fin. aid letter. What I got was almost insulting. $1,200 need-based grant. Maybe they forgot a zero. Bye-bye Penn State. :-(

You were wrong!!!!

You got in to two schools!!! Let everything pan out...plus you applied late...ever think about going it again, it seems like you could really benefit from that. if not, ypou're still off to LS in the fall! congrats!!!

I was beginning to think that my waitlist status at Loyola was a mistake. Were you interviewd? I was I'm not quite sure where this is headed. I hope it works out for both of us. I am somewhat surprised that you were rejected at Hastings with URM status. Never know what they are thinking. I would have figured you would have goteen in to USF as well. If you get Southwestern, I'd take it. My brother is a first year evening and love it. He turned down UoP, Santa Clara and USF to go there as well as several others out of California. Keep you hopes up. You have places to go. We all know it's not the school that makes the lawyer.

Wow!

Great job on the acceptances! I'm happy to find another procrastinator who waited to apply until after bombing the Feb test re-take. So what's the latest?

Gongrats on ur acceptances/waitlists!

Wow you're a champfor getting watilisted at Loyola, I'm jealous! congrats on allof your acceptances though!:-) So far... where are you going?

well...
Thursday, February 09 2006 at 07:00 PM

Well, at this point I think I will going to New York Law School. Unless by some miracle I am pulled off the waitlist at American, Loyola or Rutgers. Aside from Whittier and Southwestern, I think I would attend any of the schools still pending over NYLS. Hahah...yes, I'm definitely a procrastinator....although I wish I had just taken the Oct LSAT instead of pussing out...I think I would have done a lot better. The LSAT is not a test you can study for for 6 months. Who knows, maybe I would have gotten in to all my WL schools.

thanks!

Haha, thanks! That's nice of you. I will definitely keep you updated!

well..

I would go to Rutgers, American or Loyola from my waitlist choices....and I would go to Penn State, Pepperdine, or UOP from my pending schools....all over my only option right now...which is NYLS. Though my #1 choice would be Loyola...then Pepperdine, then Rutgers/Penn St. How about you?
