Scholarship money is going to play a big factor in my decision. Of course it would be great to get into HYS regardless of scholarship money.
I'm sorry about the Stanford rejection--both as a rejection, and because it makes your ultimate decision that much harder. Best of luck.
Surprised they dinged you as well - take heart in the fact that they're planning on only having a class of about 20 this year (lol, or that's how it appears from LSN). Good luck with Berkeley - you'd think they would be impressed with high GPAs in engineering, I don't know why they are holding out on us.
What did your letter from Columbia say? Were they putting you on "reserve?" Just curious, because that's what my letter said, and I took that to mean waitlisted.
I was "Held" at Columbia and they are supposed to make a decision on my app by April 30th. I sent in a diversity statement to supplement my app.
I do have great options, but of course it stings my EGO to be rejected from any schools. Not like I wanted to live in New Haven for three years anyways :)

Only better! Same LSAT (only I had to retake...), similar GPA, TTT school, EE... and you got WLed at CLS? Well, I hope you still check this from time to time, because I'd really like to hear how you like NYU!!
