i think a lot of schools underestimate how difficult ucla classes are. just because it's a public institution and its national ranking isn't in the top 10 doesn't mean it's a crappy school. btw, it's good that ucla doesn't have grade inflation; it's frowned upon by law schools. good luck fellow bruin! u-c-l-a...u-c-l-a...fight fight fight
the reputation and grade situation at undergrad institutions. It's their job to know, actually. Best of luck with your retake!
Hey I noticed you applied through LEOP too. Did you do that chat a few weeks back? Our applications dont go before the main committee unless the LEOP rejects us. At any rate it just makes it all take longer.... Grr!
I applied to CLEO and they did not offer me a seat. I asked them if they help you get into a law school of your choice at the end of taking their program, and they said no. At the end of the program, they have a "law school fair" where a majority of law schools attend. From there, you have to get one of the schools to accept you. I really don't see how CLEO really helps you after they told me that. All they do is prepare you for law school after you have paid $2,000+. Did you hear anything different about the program?
I have not heard from one person who went through the program. It seemed great at first but it does not look so good once you find out the real story behind them. Good luck on your applications. Keep me updated if you get any acceptances and hopefully no rejections.
hey i woudlnt worry about your gpa at a tough school. there going to look at the percentile on your report which compares your gpa from other applicants at UCLA. so a 3.0 at UCLA may put you at the 75th percentile at your school. whereas, a 3.0 at some randon directional college may put you at the 25th percentile
btw. what is the cleo program??
I see that you are applying to Hofstra. Have you heard much about it? I am applying there too and live a long ways away and probably won't get a chance to visit.
Good Luck to a fellow bruin!
