no they didn't I switched DePaul with Chicago Kent and said Chicago Kent was complete. But John Marshall did say their decision was made 5 days after my application was complete so hopefully I'll be hearing from them soon.

also I'm pretty sure that they don't review applications until December so hopefully the completion notification will be sent by then

yeah DePaul sent me a complete notice but they said they do not start reviewing applications until mid-November and once they've reviewed your application you will be notified within 3 weeks.

I know exactly how you feel! Hopefully we have a good christmas, I just want to go to law school so I'll be thankful for whoever accepts me! but of course....I have a few schools I would prefer over others! Have you visited any schools yet or are you waiting to see who accepts you?

haha... I think all of these law schools enjoy messing with our heads. Yea, I go to Wichita State. The bowling program is about the only thing this University has going for it. I really dislike everything about it and if I could go back I would never go to WSU. So that was a wise choice of you to avoid coming! haha.

I got the LSAC fee waiver. You have to send in tax records and all that. Yea, it is a need based fee waiver. I'm so thankful I got it because I didn't have to pay for either LSAT, my LSDAC registration or application fees (except UNLV). WSU does have a good baseball team...mainly because we don't have a football team so a lot of money goes towards them (baseball team). We actually just got a new field and a new winter practice facility. Pretty nice actually!

I was complete when I got the email with logon info for status checker. I applied for January 2010 addmission so I'm thinking that's why the reviewed me a little faster. My app was in late in there cycle so you may have a better shot than I did. Good luck with your cycle.

looks like I am having the same trouble you are with John Marshall, applied around the same time and my status checker still hasn't changed. I'll let you know if my status changes, good luck with everything!

I got it in the mail yesterday. It was kind of a bummer, but I have many other places as my back up! Good luck!

Keep your chin up! Besides...it's not about the first or last place to accept or deny you. It's just where you go at the end of the day! I'm sure you'll get in somewhere! And thanks a lot about MSU!

status checker update says decision made for me, looks like its taking the almost 1 month to get everything done and mailed out. Pretty quick if you ask me.

Hey thanks for the Congrats! I actually received an e-mail from the dean saying that I was getting an acceptance letter and that he hopes that I decide to attend Kent.

Catholic is driving me crazy! I went complete there back in the first part of October and my status checker hasn't changed since then. They're my dream school and I am on edge. Are they notifying via email or mail? Looks like you'll know soon.

It was on the status checker and I had to fill out a form to continue to be considered for the full time program I just saw it today online

Yes, it is insane to wait this long. But at this point I view this as an unofficial wait list. I can't explain this type of delay otherwise. I never called them to ask. I am just trying to relax and think positively. At least they didn't reject me immediately like DePaul did, in about 4-6 weeks. I sent my application to JMLS around September 9. So yes, it's been way over 3 months. So much for "first come first serve" :)
