UF Acceptance

Yeah, I just got it today! Very exciting...It came in a large brown business envelope. I am sure that you will be getting one too fairly soon considering your numbers.

Thanks

We do have similar numbers. However you have far more extracurriculars than I do. I'm going to be finishing my undergrad in 3 years - I've no idea if that means anything to the law schools.

Unfortunately

I have not yet heard back from any schools besides Texas telling me that I will be in their regular application pool. I have been out of school for winter break for the past week and I have not started getting any forwarded mail. I am hoping that UF and UM have already sent letters and that I just have not received them yet.

UF

I'm sure you'll get in at UF. when i was there visiting the school it sounded as though someone said that 5.9 index was pretty much an auto-admit (i was not told this. i overheard this in the admissions office)

I applied for the fellowship, but I have no idea to what kind of applicants it is offered. I am a little nervous about the LSAT score. Do you know anything about it? Hope your cycle continues to go well. Any preferences yet?

Question
Thursday, December 21 2006 at 07:00 PM

Any thought on where you will attend? (i.e. Top choice? schools you plan to withdraw from?)

UF scholarship
Thursday, September 21 2006 at 08:00 PM

The scholarship is actually for full tuition for the first year only. I put 10K just because they haven't decided how much tuition will be next year. It's a "first time college graduate" grant. I found out last week via the mail. At the ASD last Friday, they said that they send out the scholarships/grants in 3 waves, the first of which included the letter I got. Congrats on all of your acceptances - even your WL's are nice!

UF Grant
Friday, September 15 2006 at 08:00 PM

The $4K that has been offered to me is a grant. Only for the first year. They didn't offer anything else, but since UF is in state, I stand to save a lot of money by attending UF over some of the schools that have offered more. You have some nice acceptances. I wouldn't even think of going to UF if GW had accepted me. Then again, I am sure you have your reasons.
