On Emory. I knew it was just a matter of time before the schools started knocking down your door!
haha, I did seriously consider having it framed but settled for just saving it in pristine conditions so I can one day pass it down to my grandchildren. Congrats on Emory! I bet you can expect at least 25k from them too! Hope the rest of your cycle goes well, I can't help but have a soft spot for anyone with #s similar to my own ;) Good luck!
Did your status change at all on the checker at Emory? Mine has been at complete for like 5 months now.
yeah very strange, still haven't gotten the acceptance letter in the mail.. just out of curiosity, which would you prefer - emory or w&m? they seem neck-and-neck on a lot of things.
Don't fret the door isn't closed. You just need to go up to it and push it open! Make sure you write a LOCI and tell them they are your first choice! I think the only reason they are WLing now is because they want to see how the first wave of acceptances go and look at how many seats are left. You're numbers well within their acceptance pile and it's only a matter of time and effort on your part to get in! Let me know when they let you in.
Did you send them anything to have them see it your way? its my top choice too!

WM was my top choice. When I wrote my LOCI letter (letter of continued interest) I told them that could expect a commitment from me. I also flew out and arranged an interview. I would just recommend staying in touch with them and letting them know they are tops (if they are). I was pretty shocked to get in so soon, but definitely relieved! Best wishes to everyone. I have to say this was really unexpected and when I started this whole process I never thought it would work out - lol.
