Congrats on Whittier! How did the decision work? Did you go decision rendered on status checker first and then get snail mail?

scholarships

If you don't mind telling me, how did you go about asking Creighton (or any school) to considering giving you scholarship money? How did you phrase it? How did you determine who to email?

congrats!

On Idaho.: )

Congrats

But no BYU? If I was LDS the low tuition would make me at least throw an app their way.

Quick question: Did you receive scholarship offers from Creighton with your acceptance information, or was there a delay in between ? Thank you :)

ouch

maybe idaho isnt such a bad place! they out a hurtin on you guys the other night... I definetly bet utah state to cover nine! funny story though, part of the reason I applied to idaho is the fact that I would get to see WAC games next year when they play Nevada

Hey keep your head up. You've gotten into a Jebbie school and they are always good educators. Don't panic just yet. It's not even March. I'm sure you'll do just fine. Keep the faith.

Retake LSAT
Sunday, February 06 2011 at 07:00 PM

I noticed you mentioned retaking the LSAT a few times. If you're willing to put in the time you should do it. I got a 152 the first time and retook it after using the blueprint movie 2.0 for less than a month and improved 3 points. Not as good as I was hoping, but could have been much...much higher if I had a little more time to go through it like you're supposed to. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck with the rest of the cycle.

Good luck on Gonzaga. Hope you get good news.

I'm sure the post office is on it's way with good news about Gonzaga. Don't sweat it.

Monday, January 17 2011 at 07:00 PM

Don't know where I'm going to end up yet...still waiting on my top schools, including Gonzaga. At this point though Idaho is at the top of my list. So maybe I'll see you in the fall in Moscow or, hopefully for us both, Spokane.

Gonzaga WL
Sunday, November 14 2010 at 07:00 PM

That's like a stab in the heart. CRAP! Well, I guess there are opportunities to get scholly monies after first year...? That sucks.

Wait?
Sunday, November 14 2010 at 07:00 PM

If it makes you feel any better, I started this process 1 1/2 years ago, went through an entire cycle and then did it again (took the lsat twice with really crappy scores both times). Give yourself a year, re-take the test and I have a feeling things will be looking up. Besides, if you end up at Gonzaga, we'll still be there for two more years... Good luck.

why not idaho
Thursday, January 13 2011 at 07:00 PM

you are a resident and the tuition is so inexpensive! 12000 a year for law school is a steal, and after several talks withs susan and jenniffer they seem very cordial and knowledgeable! Besides, you would get to see your law school play your undergrad several times a year! and, moscow is a fun college town with pullman nine miles away! A colleague of mine in my masters program just got admitted to the phd program in CJ up there, we are seriously considring it!

Thanks.

Good luck on your final decision. I hope everything works out for you.

Saturday, December 11 2010 at 07:00 PM

I was accepted off the waitlist at Nebraska, so anything is possible. I also withdrew from Gonzaga and left about forty grand on the table, so there are spaces and money to be had. I'm sure you'll make the right decision. Good luck.

Wait or go....
Sunday, November 14 2010 at 07:00 PM

After reading some of your posts, I think you've put a lot of thought into this and whatever you decide will work out. remember, you're only 22! (I didn't even start my undergrad until I was 21!) You've got all the time in the world to work, build a resume, study for the lsat, etc. If you do really like Gonzaga and get in off the WL, I'll see you in the fall! Let me know what you think of Spokane and Gonzaga....

Hated Moscow?
Thursday, January 13 2011 at 07:00 PM

I saw your update about your visit to Moscow. Darn it! I'm sorry you didn't like the town at all. I still haven't visited yet, so I'd be interested to hear your expanded thoughts on the visit and town, if you'd like to share. :-) Glad you liked Omaha, my old stomping grounds! Take care! Stacey

Rooting for you!
Wednesday, August 11 2010 at 08:00 PM

I really hope that you get off the Gonzaga waitlist this year. Good luck!

Wednesday, August 11 2010 at 08:00 PM

Well, if you're ok with waiting another year, I would definitely recommend you do that and bump up that LSAT. I'd assume that you're (or anybody)much more likely to get scholarship money starting fresh next cycle, especially with an improved LSAT, than you are coming off the WL this cycle. Not impossible, but unlikely. TBH I'm really surprised you even got WL'd in the first place. That yellow dot looks a little out of place on the graph. Is there any chance that there was a problem with a LoR or your PS? I figured you would be accepted is all. =)
