12/11 -- in at Rutgers! They have a really good Taxation clinical program. Too bad it's in Newark -Ugh.

12/22 -- in at Hofstra by USPS. Included was an XL(he-he) T-shirt, $$$ and the viewbook. $10,000/year scholarship. must maintain 3.25 average. Tempting.

1/3/07 I was seriously considering Hofstra until I read that the area is unsafe during the evening hours and the parking situation is horrendous. As I have no particular desire to det mugged or raped, I will withdraw from Hofstra and take my business elsewhere.

1/8/07 in at Seton Hall by smail mail.

It looks like I might have to choose between going to law school and working for 2 more years. I've been chasing this particular job opportunity for 4 years now and now it is within my reach. But can I really afford to postpone my education for 2 more years? I am getting old and family responcibility are bearing down on me.

4/20/07 My baby is due in 1 month! I've decided to put law school on the back burner for now. I've accepted an offer from a public accoutning company to join their staff in January 2008. I'll finally get my CPA license, and I'll get a chance to spend a lot of time with my baby -- from the time she is born until mid January. I think my pregnancy put a lot of things in prospective and cleared my priorities.
I will ask Rutgers to defer my admission offer just in case I really hate public accounting.

Good luck to all of you who are heading to law school this fall without me.
