I guess I would have to say Denver, but I am not sure that I will get in there. I have been talking to a lot of people from NESL lately and Boston seems like it would be a pretty cool place to be.

Hey, are you going to send any sort of letter of continued interest? I am not sure whether to send one or not.

Hey, I just got waitlisted at Maine. They said they might start accepting off the waitlist in May. Just wanted to update you.

It's nice to know they are alive down there. I've been waiting forever, and you're the first in about two months.

  • Yes I have.

I really liked UMKC when I went there last cycle for a personal interview. The people and professors with whom I interviewed seemed friendly, but there were a few issues on which they decided not to take me. Boo hoo. This year, I've crafted my PS to refute their arguments and put the ball in their court. But all in all, I really liked it and I like the area. Louisville42 on here used to live there, too. If KC comes through, that's where I will be attending. Good luck.

Yeah the waitlist thing needs to stop! I did not end up sending a letter to MSU. They got back to me before I had a chance with the info about the part-time day acceptance. I hope you get some good news soon from MSU. Right now that is where I am leaning, unless I hear good news about my waitlisted schools.

Good luck with that application, you should have no trouble getting in for the PT program. You already have some acceptances...congrats! What's your first choice?

You have to delete schools from there after it's all been processed, and then resubmit. I think that's the deal anyway.....I had to dig around to see how to do it. Luckily, I've decided on a school already (OCU's JD/MBA option was just too tempting to pass up), so I don't have to backtrack and figure out how to add the other schools.

I was a professional cyclist. Good luck in the final countdown to April. I am only applying to my #1 choice and hoping my soft factors play a role, if not then I will retake in June or Sept...

Thanks for the thought. I tend to agree with you. Hopefully the hold with turn into an acceptance. So far this cycle sucks. I thought my gpa, well written PS, and good LORs would help somewhat on what appears to be tunnel vision from the LSAT enraptured admission officers. Nothing else appears to matter. I tend to think if you had a 2.0 and wrote a PS about how you didn't even try in college and all you did was study for the lsat and went to party after party in your spare time....but your LSAT was 180, you could go anywhere in the country except for maybe the top 15. You'd get a full ride too.

WVU is a great school, and if I planned to practice in the state of WVU, I may have given the school stronger consideration. I personally found it to be somewhat intimidating that the class of 2010 is comprised of 140 students 9 are minority and 3 are black males. I consider this to be a significant fact that influenced my decision to reject. I e-mail me with more specific questions and I'll do what i can.
