Well done on your acceptances thus far. You've got a lot of midwestern schools on there -- is that where you are from originally? Cuz you can't want to move here for our lovely weather ;) (I say this as as a Michigan native/resident)

I applied to Ave Maria because in a lot of ways I think it is better than Umich (higher bar passage rate at least) and b/c the great Robert Bork teaches there

Thanks for the reply. I love Chicago too -- won't be able to relocate there because my husband doesn't want to live in a big city, but if we could that is where I'd want to go. I have also lived in Ann Arbor and it is a great college town. good luck the rest of the way. You need to get into UM and give me some hope! ;)

I actually decided against applying to UNC...I have enough reaches/targets that are probably going to break my heart without adding UNC! :) Now I need some appealing safeties...but none are appealing to me.

No, I haven't heard from Notre Dame but I don't think I'm going to until at least the middle/end of January. I submitted early (Nov.) but not super-early and I didn't submit ED (although I should have). So, I think the acceptances going out now are ED and, if there are any regular admission acceptances, they're probably for people who applied in Sept. or Oct.

I bet to differ. A girl can earn a lot on her back. It just depends on who's on top. My boyfriend? No, didn't get me into Michigan. Now, had I spread my legs for J.B. White or someone at Michigan with similar clout, I'd be riding the gravy train to Ann Arbor.

No, I was there the week before...congrats on your incredible scholarship. I really felt the spirit of the school when I was visiting, and came away very impressed. They are working hard to woo exceptional prospectives like yourself. good luck next year!
