they don't hate you!! But I am surprised you have been deferred, especially by Georgetown. Good Luck with your apps, I know you will do well. So keep your head up!!

Fordham

Just wanted to let you know you're not alone in the Fordham mystery. What on earth are they thinking? Clearly we're both awesome and they need to let us in.

I didn't apply to HYS because i would not get in with my GPA, ditto for Boalt, and the other schools such as Michigan and Chicago are not where i want to be. I was cold enough during undergrad...

Possible Explanation

Don't get yourself down; I'm sure you will get into one of the excellent schools to which you applied. Perhaps one possible reason you haven't receieved the feedback you were looking for is that a lot of the schools that have defferred you place more emphasis on GPA than other schools. For this reason, you're index number at these schools might not be as high as you think it ought to be with an LSAt of 170. However, some of the other schools to which you applied place almost complete weight on LSAt; it is at these schools that I know you're a lock. So, Have no fear!! GL, John

congrats :)

I am sorry for such a rough cycle. You should have been golden with the 170.

How did you hear about being moved from "pended" to "Accepted" with Fordham? Big-Time Congrats!

Congrats on getting in off the Duke waitlist, any advice?

Duke

Congrats on Duke! Bill was giving us both the good news on the same day. You've got a ton of waitlists still outstanding and Duke wants some money by Friday. What are you going to do? Pay the money or gamble? What do you think is the likelihood of you ending up at Duke?

Con't Interest Letters
Sunday, April 02 2006 at 08:00 PM

I don't think our letters of con't interest played much of a factor, if any. When I got the initial call asking me about my interest, the guy was reading my letter while he was talking to me. It was obvious that it was the first time he was reading it.
