You should consider applying to Howard University. LSAT range is 148-154 gpa 2.8-3.4 and it is in Washington D.C.

I definitely appreciate your comments/suggestion and will look at Howard. Despite applying to schools within my range, I am burdened with an extensive criminal history (civil rights restored by Gov. Crist in 2007). Thanks again for your suggestion.

Hey congrats on CSL!! Nice $$ too. I live in Charlotte and have been hearing some good things regarding the school. I'm actually headed there for an open house Saturday. You planning on attending or holding out for another school? Again, real glad to see this worked out for you.

I'm not sure yet, there were two other schools that did phone interviews and implied my chances for acceptance were good. I have until May 1st to send in the seat deposit so I will just start getting ready to move and play it by ear.

How the hell did you get rejected from all of these schools? Your numbers aren't bad.

I was trolling some schools to find stuff out about them, and noticed on two or three of them you were a statistical anomaly, so I got curious, followed the link, and eventually found your mention of criminal history. All I have to say is, as long as you stick with this stuff and "turn around," you'll be a MUCH more effective, capable advocate, than would be most typical snotty upper-middle-class children of yuppies who haven't seen any other side of life. Proud of you for taking lemons to make lemonade! :)
