top choice?
Thursday, December 15 2005 at 07:00 PM

My top choice is Georgetown, and I have sent in two follow up letters expressing that, but don't expect to hear anything in regards to the waitlist til June. Supposedly I'm on the Preferred Waitlist, but I'm not sure if that means anything. I'm more than happy to go to Illinois, especially with in-state tuition and scholarship, but if I get into a top 20 school, it will be a tough choice.

Yes, my top choice is ND. I actually graduated from Saint Mary's College (ND's sister school) - but who knows. I definitely don't have the scores to even be waitlisted - but I'm thrilled anyway ;) IU sounds like a great school - so at least I have a good fall back. Good luck on all of your apps!

I don't have a top choice yet... of all of the schools I'm in at now, it's UT hands down... I think you've got a decent shot at NW... if you get in there, would that sway your decision?

about ND

i asked "lindzb" a similar question because I noticed she had waitlist for ND with the same decision date as you. I got a letter dated feb 20 saying I was put on the "provisional list." did yours say the same thing or something different? i am trying to figure out the difference between waitlist and deferred. good luck

thanks

I first got an e-mail from them letting me know that they would be reviewing my application soon. Then, a few days later, I got another e-mail from Cornblatt letting me know that I had been accepted. And, I'll most likely be going...hope this helps!

Congrats on your acceptances. May I ask, what tools did you use to prepare for the LSAT?
