Dojo... I never even received a letter saying my application was received, much less any correspondence regarding a status checker. So the answer is that I don't know :)
yeah, I received an email from them about a month after I submitted my application. It provided a link to an online status check. I think I'd have rather not known about it, because now I'm obsessively checking it for updates. :) congrats again!

how the hell did you get rejected by pepperdine? is it possible you screwed up the application or something?

I don't know about pepperdine... I even filled out their Christian mission statement... maybe they're trying to protect their yields for the US News rankings lol
Right now I am leaning a lil towards UT. Im gonna visit the campus next week. However, if SMU sways me with more scholarship money, it will make my decision more interesting. btw: Darth Vader told me if I didnt ask Lorraine to the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance that he's melt my brain! LOL!
i have you committed to UT? it would be cool if we both ended up there. i have utmost respect for all Back to the Future fans.

I noticed your bands on the roster for the dance auditions after school. Why even bother, McFly, you dont have a chance, your too much like your old man. No McFly ever amounted to anything in the history of Hill Valley! Yeah...well history is gonna change. Congrats on your acceptances. whats your top choice? Mine is Gtown, and am on the waitlist, but plan on going to Illinois if I dont get in. And this audition tape is great Marty you should really send it into the record company. I dont know Jennifer, I mean, what if they dont like it, what if they say Im no good, what if they say, Get outta here kid, you got no future, I just dont think I could take that kind of rejection. Jesus, Im starting to sound like my old man.
If I got into NW, UofChi, Gtown it would definitely sway my decision. Any other top 20 school though I would have to weigh the potential $125k difference in cost vs. Illinois.

congrats on your cycle. you played it well. although you got some tough rejections you got into a top notch school (UT) and got some good ca$$$H from other solid schools (SMU, Baylor, Illinois). I imagine you have a tough call to make between choosin the scholarship or goin in some debt by attendin the best school you got into. However, that is a good problem to have.
