Hey Randy, Don't let these forums of ppl with super high #s get you down! If you look at Michigan's stats you are in the middle range for LSAT and really high for GPA, which means you have a great chance. I would focus my effort on making my essays really great instead of spending all the time to get a few more LSAT points if I were you. Just my opinion. Good luck- I'm hoping for Michigan as well!
Numbers twin:) Argh! I'm looking at the history of the cycle; it doesn't seem too encouraging. My first choice is NYU. Indeed, I sent my ED contract in this morning. Let's hope for the best:)
Where did you get those probability numbers from?
Where did you get those probability numbers from?
Wait a minute.. how is it that Chiashu gave you different numbers for the same schools, even though we have the same numbers??
I realize what you did. You put the 2003 numbers in. What was the motivation? You do realize that the 2006 numbers are more accurate, right?
rossum: Are these numbers more in-line with yours?
and best of luck to you as well. You certainly have a shot at Michigan - I'm thinking that I'm going to get the WL, but maybe we'll both get in! Be prepared for a nice blitz from UMN - they're about the friendliest people in the world. Speaks well of them.
Thanx. Good luck to you too!
good luck, man. I was completely taken off-guard by my 5 day turnaround at Michigan. I thought a long wait was in store for me at any of the T14. With your numbers you really should consider applying to Yale, Harvard and Stanford. If you're not applying to any "longshots" you're not applying right, at least in my opinion. Good luck again.
I'm sure you'll get into some great schools with those numbers. And Michigan will be silly to make you wait too long :)
thanks so much randy jay-- good luck with michigan!
I'm pretty psyched! Congrats on OSU and best of luck with the rest. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your Michigan acceptance!
I went complete on Jan 14. You have a really good shot at Mich - a good friend of mine got in yesterday with a 3.75/166. He went complete in mid December. Good luck!!!
Hey, man. Thanks for the congratulations. About the quick turnaround--Duke sent me an invitation to apply 'priority track.' I've seen some people here who have very similar stats to mine who also didn't get the priority track invite, so it seems to have been given out randomly. With your stats, I think you definitely won't have to settle for OSU :) Good luck!
on minnesota!
wtg with the minn scholarship. good luck on all your pending apps! and let me know if you ever want to open a small town wisconsin firm that nevertheless represents the richest people in the country, and in every area of law.
Thanks for the congrats and good luck with your cycle
Vandy rocks. I will be going to their ASD in March, very excited.
thank you for the congrats!! you're doing awesome so far in your cycle too - i'm glad that our late submissions don't seem to have hurt us too much, at least yet! :)
Hey RandyJay, ... where are you headed this fall? Are you holding out for Cornell and Mich? If they don\'t come through, will it be NU or Vandy?
Hey there numbers sibling (not quite twin)! I'm thinking of retaking, too, and scholarship $ is again a big concern for me. December just seems sooo late in the cycle, though. What a gut wrenching decision! I almost feel like taking it again just to show it who's boss. Retake or no retake, best of luck this cycle!
